Swirlz Frozen Custard and Soft Serve - Lake Orion

Used to live down the street. We rode bikes here all the time. Now other opposite side of lake orion it's a special trip. The custard tasted like soft serve and definitely asked for custard. Now not worth the drive. There are others that are a drive away, but worth it!

It was Friday and we decided to go to SWIRLZ for the first time this year for ice cream. There was plenty of parking when we arrived and as we walked in there several people ahead of us which gave us time to decide what we wanted.

There was only one employee behind the counter taking orders and I must say, she was doing an excellent job of taking care of the customers.

We ordered a cup of vanilla soft serve with hot fudge and a banana split swirlz.

We will definitely be coming back for more 🍦 ice cream.

Horrible, the frozen custard was salty for some reason, the caramel was on the other side of the cup more separated then the eyes on my face, the frozen custard was horrible and over expensive and I’m pretty sure they just gave me ice cream instead of frozen custard, the root beer was on the top for some reason separated, never coming here again. Three star. Also I would like a reply from someone who works here because I am very disappointed and I’m gonna name everyone in my family who got disappointed, my mom, me, my sister, my other sister, my dad, yes that was my whole family because no one liked it. Sorry swirls but you’re getting a bad review😕. Sincerely, the kid that ordered “frozen custard with caramel and root beer float”.the picture of my ice cream I got is below. Ice cream was good , waited a long time to order, poor girl was working alone on a Sunday!
Owner needs to get more help for her!
You should be ashamed to treat someone so cruel to put them in such a situation!
I’d like to challenge you to work alone up there on a Saturday or Sunday, I’d bet you’d get some help then ! So cruel 😡

Amazing delicious Pineapple Dole Whip! Clean Ice Cream Parlor & friendly staff, family owned ! Delicious Vanilla custard peach cobbler sundaes! Highly recommend to visit!

We frequent here since it’s convenient and close to home. Swirlz is just fine, nothing special, but gets the job done with younger kids. Multiple times I’ve got a butterfinger flurry and the candy was stale. Usually have younger kids working the register that aren’t super friendly, hopefully this opportunity helps build their customer service skills.

The ice cream is good but they only ever have one employee working. Even the slightest crowd is a 15-20 minute wait. Don't be so cheap and hire more help!

We went today , friendly staff, ice cream to soft, and the floors along with the door need washed . Please clean the floor this year.

If you want to wait almost 30 minutes just to walk out and go elsewhere this is your place! Why would you have only 1 person working with zero sense of urgency?! It’s also extremely hot in there makes waiting even worse. Don’t bother!

Waited 45 min (with two hot and cranky kids) for ice cream to be informed they don’t accept $100 bills. Thanks a lot. Sorry to inconvenience you.

3 year later update:(Still) The best Ice cream in Lake Orion.They have added Dole whip to their lineup.They do custard and rotate some flavors each month.They have some really great unique combos. (Churro flurry anyone?)The staff are fast and friendly.Highly recommended

I was there with my sisters and we each got a different ice cream, each of them tasted absolutely amazing. We did have a small issue with one of our orders, but when we brought it up to the girls working there they immediately fixed it! So nice and helpful, definitely a 10/10 experience!

Great frozen custard and fantastic service! Such a cute place with lots of seating inside and out!
