Food was mediocre. I was disappointed because of the great reviews. I expected more from a restaurant that calls themselves “fine dining.” The atmosphere was more of a family restaurant than fine dining.
Our server was great, but the horrible singer/guitar player butchered my favorite tunes. I probably would have given a better review for atmosphere had they not had the “live music.” We are in Oscoda for a weekend visit and can’t believe the limited amount of quality restaurants in the area. Nothing great within 30 miles! I suppose that is why this place stays in business.
The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly to the temp I requested! Staff is friendly and swift and someone was playing the piano while we were here
Better atmosphere than most in the area. I’m sure this is a one off because I have heard so many good things, but I have to give 3 stars because the burger I ordered (medium, which was cooked fine and as requested) must have been made with old beef. Never have had a burger so stale and questionable tasting out, but was so hungry I ate a few bites. Chicken sandwich and salad ordered was fine, but the burger ruined it. I’d like to try other dishes as I know this must be a fluke.
Very efficient service. We had large party. No complaints
Stopped here based on other reviews on a day out exploring new places. The staff was friendly and attentive, I had a blackened chicken flat bread, special of the day, & cup of soup. It was all soo good. Perfect portions, flavorful and unique. But lets talk about the cheesecake. I undulged in the lemon blueberry. It was beyond delicious, who ever make this needs a raise! Highly recommend this place. If I get back to the area, it will be a must re-visit for me.
A gem of Oscoda! Food is fresh and fantastic. Ambiance is different than what most may be used to...feels more like eating at a (good) family members home, which is what makes this place so great!
We had a birthday party of 6 ladies and we all enjoyed our meal. We ordered Perch, BBQ Ribs, Salmon salad and a special sparkler dessert. The food was excellent. It was also nice to see the owner,Bill, who came to our table to make sure everything was perfect. We always come back for good meals.
Cheesecake was amazing! Try the Millennium Soup ❤️

The most bland, unseasoned food I’ve ever had. The vibe of the place is very weird as well.

Best ribs in town! It's one of the few places around that still includes bread, soup and salad with your entree. Pro tip- the meal is big enough to share and then you will still have room for their homemade cheesecake!
