I cant speak to their food we never had a chance to order. When we got there, there was not a single sever or host to be seen. One of us wonder around and found someone who told us to seat ourself and we waited.
We had what appeared to be the only worker go by us twice and nothing. He mentioned coming back he didn't. Once he gave someone a drink on the house and walked by us again without saying anything we knew we wouldn't be eating anytime soon.
We ended up leaving hungry and disappointed 15 minutes and not so much as a drink order. They didn't even have the current on tap list printed out. It's very clear they are understaffed and very poorly managed.

I came in once before and wasnât too pleased with my experience. I have always believed in second chances. I came in (Oct. 9, 2024) and was instantly greeted. It wasnât too busy, so the waiter let us seat ourselves. He gave us menus and let us look over them before bombarding us with our order. He came over and introduced himself and asked for our drink order, he instantly went back and got it. After that, he gave us a few more minutes to look over the menu and checked back on us. We placed our order, we both got the New York strip dinner. He had it out to us within 20 minutes, he also asked us to check to see if our steak was cooked good, which it was perfect, you donât see many servers doing that anymore. He had asked us if we needed anything and checked on us every once in a while that we were there.
Over all, our experience was AMAZING! I have recommended the restaurant to many people since!
This dining experience was not so good. First no one met us at the door or seated us. We should have turned back then. We sat at a booth and then had to let the bartender know that we sat down. We ordered the seafood soup a burger and Crispy egg rolls. All of this food should not take long to make. Itâs basically frozen food. It took over 40 minutes. It was all delivered at same time and cold. I asked for mustard. I was given an empty container that was not clean. Iâm sorry for this business. I hope it survives but wonât with this quality of food and service. While sitting and waiting 4 people left because they were not greeted. I love Oscoda but something is going wrong here. Maybe we give it another try because I hope they get their service and food together. The food was 40$ plus tip for two people. Not worth it folks but I wish them well.
In response to owner. Yes we did alert our server. We came in around 5:00 pm and stayed until 7:15. The server who also is now a manager did the best he could but I think he was doing everything. Many people were not there or did not show up for work. He was trying his hardest and we shared all of our concerns: cold food, very long wait, mustard empty. He wasn't able to rectify anything he seemed too busy. I am sorry. We paid the bill and left a tip but really it was a bad dining experience.

Sadly, it was a terrible experience tonight. After seating ourselves and waiting about 20 minutes, I went and got our own menus from the hostess area. We knew we came in for ribeyes but wanted to pick out an app. We waited another 10 minutes or so for our waitress to come by and ask if anyone got our drinks yet and then asked the other waiter if he had, he said no because it was her table. We ordered drinks, our app and ribeyes. She said no ribeyes, no sirloin, no chicken and no soup. She said they had New York strips that I didnât see on the menu, with hesitation we went with those. She asked what sides, but they werenât listed on the menu and she rattled off a list, so I just wanted to read them off the menu as some are regular priced and some are premium. She said, they arenât on there because you have the wrong menus⊠my thoughts were, well if I didnât have to get them myself! She sensed my hesitation and at one point said something along the lines of âItâs not like Iâm forcing you to stay hereâ and I replied, âI know youâre notâ and we decided to leave. Please keep in mind, I am not a Karen, I work in customer service and am super kind to others who do so as well. Side note, the last time my bf and I came specifically for ribeyes, they only had one. I guess I shouldâve known. Bad experience overall. Iâd recommend calling ahead of time to see if they even have what youâre wanting.

Went at 4:00PM on a Friday afternoon. They were out of everything on the menu except hamburgers. Our first time there and we brought out of town family. So disappointed.

Food was very greasy! They were having a private party in the back which impacted service. No water refills. Wrong order was provided to a member of our party but server never came back to correct it. Charged us the wrong price, again not returning to correct. Perhaps they should not open the dining room when they have private parties!

Had to walk away after waiting 30 minutes , a private party ioverloaded the kitchen to the point no one else able to submit orders (they gave us a 30 minute wait and then after 30 minutes we were told they don't know when the kitchen would start accepting orders again)
