I tried this place twice. I had the chicken Marsala which was excellent but the portion was very small. They give you one of those very small thin chicken breasts for $19. The desserts were excellent I had two. The second time I had the hot honey chicken sandwich. It was good but the piece of meat didn’t even cover the small bun. I was taking bites if just bun. We also had the chicken wings which were way over cooked and had barely any meat on them. We also had the portabella mushroom appetizer which the portion was very skimpy for the $14. I want to give them a chance but they need to make some improvements. The salad bar looked good. The prices are too high for what you get.

Server was nice but that’s where it ends. We ordered the deep fried mozzarella. Instead of the half moon mozz that the menu said we would get we got overcooked Sysco frozen mozzarella sticks and was still charged the $14.99 for something way less than we ordered. My mother had the perch which smelled frozen and fishy in a bad way after being told it was fresh it definitely was not. All she ate was the sides as the perch was not good. I had the seafood risotto. My scallops were extremely dry same with the shrimp. The risotto was decent but had an old taste to it. Definitely not worth the $24.99 that was paid. We were brought boxes even though nothing was worth taking home. Would not recommend.

This place is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Love the food here. Best place to eat in Ossineke! First time I came here I ordered the lasagna and it was a good meal. Came back again recently and ordered the cedar plank steak and the portion of the steak was bigger than I expected. When I ordered it rare, some places tend to overcook it. Cook here cooked my steak just to the perfect rare I wanted. Will definitely come back here to try another dish.

It is so nice to have another option for dinner in Ossineke. We both had the special, which was battered cod (3 pieces), broccoli, and choice of potato. Normally, when my wife and I go out for a fish dinner, she usually has one piece left that I'll eat. Well, tonight, the cod fillets were huge, and I couldn't even finish mine. Which was hard because they were perfectly cooked and the batter was fantastic! Everything was hot and fresh and came out super quick. We were both glad that we decided on Cattails for dinner tonight. Keep up the great work!
