This is my second time I wrote a review for Connie's. I think it was at least 5 years ago with my first review. Connie's is THE breakfast spot in Ossineke. The cinnamon rolls are legendary. Believe me when I say when you order one for the table they are gigantic and can easily feed 3 people. They are good, but very, very sweet. I think the to go cinnamon rolls may not be as big. The food (omelets and skillets) were good and there was a lot of food. There was 4 of us and 3 of us took food home. The homemade bread they served with my omelet was the best thing! Service was great, I would go back again. It is a little pricey for Northern Michigan, but good.

Fabulous staff. Knowledgeable waitresses. Delicious food served quickly even though the girls in the kitchen were so, so busy. 10/10!

Connie’s is well worth the stop. Pot roast sandwich is excellent. It’s huge (could split), on homemade bread, and very tasty. I brought half of mine home. Service was fast, accurate, and friendly. 4 of us all thought our meal was great. Unfortunately, I didn’t have room for a sweet roll, but they looked fantastic as did the pies. Maybe next time. I’ll be back.

I'm so sad because we loved this place, but what we witnessed today was terrible and I won't be back. It was busy so there was a "wait to be seated" sign. We were waiting patiently behind an elderly couple, one with a cane who was getting very tired from standing. We were all ignored. Fine. You're busy I get it. But when a group of four young adults came in, walked past us, asked the woman at the bakery case for a a table and was immediately seated at the table being cleaned off, I got pissed and I left. Not mad for myself, mad for this woman who was in pain from standing and waiting with a cane. That was her table. That worker should have said "no we have people waiting for tables". I know someone is going to respond to this with some story about how it was okay, but we all know what we saw.
