I wanted to love this place, but our only time here in February 2024, our meal was terrible. I had the smoked brisket tots. After waiting over 30 minutes, they came out like a cold hardened blob, as if they had been waiting on the counter for 25 of those 30+ minutes. The waitresses only answer was she was sorry, they were busy. No offer to rectify. My wife had the pulled pork. The taste was OK, but it was also cold. Not even luke warm, both meals were closer to cold. It's a shame, as we will definitely return to the Liqued Note next door, but next time we will eat elsewhere before coming.

When it comes to reviews I'm a tough judge. Although this establishment may not be a five-star restaurant in all the categories I am basing my opinion on how hard this young staff tries to do everything right. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is good and they do cook here and not unwrapped and heat. I'm a picky diner and a high maintenance customer. They were always there at my side to do anything I needed. They were happy to have customers and they let you it know it and it was genuine. I do not hand out charity to businesses and I will be back because the food was good and the service was great.

If you are looking for good tots, fries and beer, and only tots fries and beer, this could be the place for you. All the other food was over cooked (including the onion rings and fish) or soggy. Server was very pleasant, but food did not match the service.

Soooo much grease, it was a heart burn meal for sure but most of it was really good. Service was amazing but the deep fried pickles about killed me lol, prices were moderately high but it wasn't the worst.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner while on vacation and I'm glad we did. Both are dinners were absolutely amazing! Our server was very friendly and the taphouse itself was very decorative. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Reviews here on Google very helpful. Large craft beer selection, grass fed beef burgers. I had the "Aboot Maudie, eh?" Burger, yum! Husband ordered Rueben and was very good, not over sauced. Server was busy, mistakenly gave tots to tot-hating Husband. Fries they subbed were not good. Dark atmosphere but sat towards front by window. They have a nice outdoor venue for concerts with schedule printed so you can plan your next visit. Overall good food and beer.

My family and I stopped here prior to heading to the Allegan county fair. We wanted the kids to have something decent to eat before going around all of the fried fair food! The location is great and interior design of the restaurant is wonderful. Once we arrived we did have to wait for a table to be cleared and cleaned. We put in our kid orders first to hopefully get the out first. I ordered a salad and soup, my husband ordered a gyro. My soup never came out, the appetizer and kids plate came out at the same time, then I had to remind staff about my salad. My husband had to make his gyro to-go since it never came out while the kids and I were eating. The kitchen staff were putting out orders and plates, just not our dishes in a timely manner.The food that we did have was very tasty! The location and style of the restaurant are great. Atmosphere and beer selection are nice too. I am just wondering about how the waiting and kitchen staff workflows are to have 1 person in a part not receive their food and another person only receive half of their order...
