First Impression was the cozy warm country style environment, loved it. We were warmly greeted by our friendly waitress Natalie, and the service was fast and the food was great. The portions are very generous and the prices are good too. A very clean environment and clean sanitary bathroom as well.
Homemade food is what I like and they delivered. View hand painted Statues while you eat. I will definitely be back and I recommend this place to everyone. They make you feel welcomed here. Thanks Ovid Cafe.

First time visiting and I am very impressed. The place was clean and homey feeling, the prices were pretty good compared to what we have seen. There isn’t tvs everywhere like most places so no distractions and gave me and my friend the opportunity to chit chat more. I ordered the western omelette and it was delicious and packed full of meat. My friend had the jumbo burrito and she said it was great! We had Becca for our waitress and she was so friendly and helpful. Very attentive and when she had down time she would go off and find something to clean. I would definitely recommend to try this little cafe!

Love this place now that the old owner has it back. The hours are incorrect though. They are open from 8am-8pm Monday thru Saturday, and 8am to 3pm on Sunday!

Good food. A hearty chili. Crackers seemed stale.
Good service
They had been busy early and ran out of eggs and silver ware. Interesting
Wish them the best.

Well what can I say. I took my wife and kids here because our neighbor said we should try it and that they could really use the community support to keep there doors open. We are all about helping the mom and pop restaurants and small businesses. However this Cafe was not a good experience. We walked in sat down and looked over the menu given to us my wife asked for a kids menu for our youngest but quickly decided that the menu would not suit her as what they offered was shameful, one chicken tender a hot dog with no bun...Really... so she decided to order our youngest a BLT any other establishment offers fries also not here you only get the BLT and you pay out the nose for it. I my self ordered the grilled chicken dinner, my wife ordered there Turkey dinner, our son ordered a cheeseburger basket and our oldest daughter ordered the shrimp and wanted cottage cheese..I told the waitress to make hers a basket with fries as well and she said ok but we would be charged extra for the cottage cheese which was no problem.. we also ordered drinks but was a mistake as they charge 2.75 per drink and had Pepsi products but the machine was not working for Pepsi so we ended up with a can of Pepsi for 2.75 a piece poured over ice which was half a can each for 2.75. We said it is fine give them a chance right... so out came the waitress to tell me they did not have chicken breasts so I said just give me the turkey dinner to then.. the dinner was suppose to come with turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans , salad and Texas toast as on there board and we confirmed with the waitress that's what we would get she said yes. After a while our food comes out.. big surprise my daughter's basket had no fries, we asked and the waitress argued with a attitude that we said we did not want the fries but if we did she could have the cook drop some but we said no just forget it as we did not want to cause any trouble. Our dinner came out and it was a small I mean tiny portion of mashed potatoes and green beans that literally had 7 or 8 beans that's it and they were dry and shriveled.. instead of Texas toast we got a half a hot dog bun. When we asked about the Texas toast we were told they did not have Texas toast. The mashed potatoes were mixed with fake potatoes and had chunks of not cooked potatoes that were crunchy and hard . NO SALAD either the waitress never even asked when we ordered what dressing so guess that should have been a clue there. To charge 12.95 for a turkey dinner and get served that is ridiculous. Our bill came to $68 and we all left still hungry and very disappointed with the service and attitude from the waitress as well as the poor food. I can definitely see why they are begging on their Facebook page for the community to come in so they can keep there doors open.. but if you do that then you atleast should care what you serve the community.. worst dinner experience by far that we ever had.. We will not be returning as you might guess. Better they close their doors.

Back to previous owners. Although I only went to Cafe while new owners were operating it a few times I found it cheaper to eat steak and eggs at Cracker Barrel. Previous owners are back and they corrected the prices first thing.
