I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Subway in Ovid, and I have to say this 5-star review is only because of Miah. Miah is a breath of fresh air for this place! After new owners, years of neglect, and questionable food, it finally feels like they have hired someone who truly cares about the customer experience and this store. Miah was friendly, attentive, and made my sandwich exactly how I wanted it with what he had. It’s clear that he takes pride in his work, and he keeps a positive attitude even though working there seems like a nightmare.
The amount of times this location has issues since getting new owners is wild. They never have a full menu and are always out of things. Even under all these conditions, Miah radiates positivity so contagious that I left feeling happy and appreciated, even though I was leaving without all my favorite items because they were out again. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by and see Miah at Subway – he’s making a real difference! Five stars for Miah! The best new employee! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place literally sucks I won’t be waisting anymore money here they have terrible service and they like to void sandwiches out of an order of two sandwiches but only void one?? Like that’s ridiculous. And then we went in to order it again only to have them be all rude and stingy saying crap like “we can only do six Jalepanos “ okay but not even giving an option to buy extra is wild. I don’t understand specifically asking for lettuce and tomato on a damn sandwich just for there to be the smallest sprinkle of lettuce and two tomato slices on an entire foot long. Not just one experience but the last five. Not just one worker but all of them. Just drive farther because this is not worth your money.

Stop giving this franchise business… not worth the time or money, the proof is there and shows. The food was very very below average, they have a staff of less then 7 people who can half make food and half cannot… my bread for my sandwich was literally burnt hard toast and the bread was not edible at all. The service… the employees do what they can with the very little help they’re given, and the atmosphere is still the same old depressing subway but atleast the employees have great taste in music, so that helps with the wait.
3/24/25 It’s still the same… If you wouldn’t eat it… use your brain and don’t serve it

People were pretty rude, And don't even know how to make a Dipper. Just handed me a cold pepperoni and cheese burrito basically. Like put it in the oven at least, and you know cut the flat bread in two.

Thank for the 2 hour wait i ordered online at 6 and took till 830 till i got home i have photo evidence and i want a refund. J.T was the worker working at the time that put every customer above my order even when i was at the restaurant (and who the hell give someone a sub that looks like this)

The people working at this location don't know how to read a order from online. U order anything online it will be made wrong even if u give special instructions to make in from top to bottom they find a way. Plus workers are lazy and don't answer phone just shut it off because they get sick of complaints

I had a coupon for front counter, I Explained my situation that I just got out of the hospital and couldn't walk inside, they told me to go through the drive through. I ordered 2 sandwiches I had a coupon for each sandwiche but since I put it on one ticket she would only honor one coupon and refused to separate the orders. Then she told me she wouldn't honor either coupon because they where front Counter only. I reminded her the phone conversation we had about the hospital and she said I would have to mentor the front counter 😒 . She proceeded to tell me she is the only employee every day.... im so sad she lied about helping me to begin with. no wonder no one goes there much and they have few customers daily. Only reason I went after getting discharged from the hospital is because I was hungry, I had a coupon, and she said she would help me.

I'm sorry, but I've been going to this subway for over 8 years, and since the new owners took over, it's extremely dirty. Workers try hard, but can't communicate, or make a sub to order. They have no idea what a salad even is.

Really poor representation of Subway food today. I would have thought I got a jr sub if I didn't know better. Extremely small and half the usual amount of tuna, as was my sons chicken sub. The churro and pretzle were so tough, we literally couldn't eat them. I'm not a regular at this location, so maybe it was just an off day, but way below standards on my visit.

This subway is actually the worst one I’ve ever been to. The bread is always hard, they hardly put any amount of veggies/meats but overload your sandwich with the condiments leaving you a soup of sauces inside stale bread. The pizzas are always cold in the center making it so you have to go home and finish cooking it.I will not ever be going back to this subway and will make sure the people I know don’t go either so they won’t have to deal with such an unsatisfying experience. It’s so much more worth to drive to Owosso or St. John’s in order to actually get good subway
