My first visit to Barrister was pleasant-nice atmosphere, really sweet waitress, and absolutely delicious food! I ordered (2) tacos (1 smoked pork and 1 smoked chicken). Both were dressed with an amazing jalapeño coleslaw! I ordered small smoked chicken salad. The ingredients were fresh (locally sourced)- I knowthiswill be on repeat! I also ordered a peach cobbler-the best I've ever had. This restaurant is absolutely worth a try--affordable, amazing food, and really sweet staff! I can't wait to bring my husband and friends!

Waited a long long time for food And once it got to the table the mac and cheese was luke warm and the fries needed to cook more. We are not beer drinkers Or drinkers really for that matter But i had a gift card thought id use it for our anniversary. They said we came in at the end of the rush thats what took so long . Was not impressed.

I was excited to take some brewery loving family members here. Unfortunately we walked in and sat down and after over 15 minutes no one had even come up to our table yet. The waitress saw us because she walked by us and made eye contact. It wasn't even very busy. So we finally got up and left.
My husband and I took and afternoon and headed down to Owosso for their Tag-a-Brew. We ordered two flights, a flatbread, and their house Cuban style sandwich. I loved the flatbread. It had cudighi sausage on it. My husband's sandwich was very tasty. Their fries are outstanding. The thin sliced pickles that came on the side with his sandwich were VERY good. And now, the beer. All of our flight selections were consistently good. Of my husband's flight, the cerveza was his particular favorite. I had the best peanut butter porter in my flight. But all eight of the beers/stouts/porters we had were top notch.

Stopped in while doing some tag a brew hopping, and I am not disappointed. The brews are fantastic, and the food was amazing. I had a little of everything. The menu is pretty broad and I knew what ever I was going to order would be good. I will be back.
