Usually love this place but today got home with 8 inch steak and onions combo. Was asked at window if I wanted sauce or peppers. Asked for sauce. 8 Miles home ready to eat and had no sauce. Set sandwich aside because it was sooooo dry. Very disappointed!!

Always a favorite and a definite stop when I get close to one. Prices are a little up there but you will see why when you get your sandwich. Don't forget the peppers and red sauce, it's a must have!

Big John’s is one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been eating at various locations since I was a kid, it’s my comfort meal. I’m chronically ill and every time I have to go to an appointment in Owosso, I stop here and get a sandwich. The red sauce is to die for. I will admit, I came here once and asked for red sauce. The younger girl said “hot sauce?” And when I corrected her she said “oh I just call it hot sauce because it looks like that to me” girl? it can be pretty pricy depending on what you order. When I’m on a budget I get their smallest size, but when I can, I get a 16” so I can have left overs, considering I live an hour away!!

We had never heard of this place. It was 10 mins until close, and we had just rolled into town and needed some food.
Big John's stood out as something different. The lady on the speaker was so nice and helped us navigate the menu. We got the 16 deluxe mushrooms and cheese. It was huge! We couldn't finish it.the meat was so tender and flavorful.
We will go back the next time we see one!

My first visit to a Big John location. Should have tried this a long time ago! Subs and sides are fresh and delicious. Counter staff very friendly and welcoming. Order was made quickly. There is a small dining area as well as outdoor seating.

As a worker here I will say we do cook to order so it might take some time for orders especially the bigger ones, and we do have an older speaker that picks up every little noise which is why sometimes we ask multiple times to double check what we heard. All the people I’ve worked with are great with people, I hope the long waits are worth it for y’all sometimes!!!(if not I’m sorry I’ll try harder next time you stop by)

My order was wrong, and the cashier wasn't listening when we said it 3 times. We had a time crunch, so I just said whatever I'll eat it. I'm not a big fan so far. Every time I've gotten their food, it is just so so.

Not sure why restaurants insist on yucky canned mushrooms. It would be nice if this location offered French fries, but there might be a chain stipulation. The drive-thru window is covered so you can't see into the kitchen. This is an unfussy good place for a cheap ham and cheese sandwich and bag of chips. Employees are very friendly. Club sub is served cold unless requested hot :(
