I bought 2 dozen cupcakes for my sons birthdays 02/28/25 their party was the following day. The vanilla cupcakes were all rock solid like they were stale already. The frosting was rock solid as well. Highly disappointed for the price I paid I could have baked them myself 10x better.

My sister called me and told me about Defying Gravity Bakery on my way home from Flint to Lansing via M-21 and State Rd and to my Delight they had Kolichy
My Mother and sisters would make Kolicy for Holidays and what a nice surpise to see them in Michelle display case
These Kolichy are 3x's the Size of what my Mother would make and So DELICIOUSLY GOOD and well worth the price they ask for them

Wheelchair accessibility: They have remodeled a old home into a bakery and they added a beautiful wheel chair ramp easy access with lots of room inside to accommodate

Someone that is bitter, hateful and spiteful should not and cannot be taken seriously. Do better Carrie Austin, be a better human. Stop harassing someone’s place of business.

If I could give no stars, I would.
The cookies were dry and tasted like flour!! The cake pops were so sugary sweet!!! You couldn’t even bite through the frosting coating on them and there was hardly any cake to them. I would never have this bakery make anything to eat, especially for a special occasion!!!

Our 7 year old said the carrot cake is a 100 out of 10. He’s not wrong. We’ve tried so many of their treats and not one has disappointed. The staff is awesome!

Thank you so much Defying Gravity! We had ordered custom cookies elsewhere for a surprise party and our baker backed out with less than 36 hours before the party. We called Defying Gravity to see if they could make custom cookies with such short notice and it was as easy as that! They not only completed the short notice task, but the cookies were delicious and cute! So thanks again! We will be using them in the future for sure!
