I have been here 3 times now. Have not been disappointed 🌶

Food was good, service was good. Would eat here again.

Our waitress was good. However the manager was rude!! They open at 11:30 we walked in at 11:27 and asked if you knew we opened at 11:30 why did you walk in? I told him we were willing to wait and told him we hadn’t seen each other (my friend and I) for 40 years and to put us in a corner we might be here for awhile and he said “Great that’s just what a restaurant wants to hear!” I left the waitress a generous tip but will NEVER BE BACK!

Always a great meal at El Protreo. We loves this place and especially this location. The food is always great!!!

Good food but slow to seat people. Place isn't even half full (plenty of staff).

We love the food. It comes to you quickly, and always tastes amazing. The fajitas come sizzling on cast iron accompanied by rice beans and three choices of accompaniments. The burritos are good sized and so delicious. The white cheese dip is perfection. The service is always fast and friendly. We are always treated like extended family.

takeout I order 2 rose Conqueso Which is supposed to have queso sauce on it a man gets on the phone tells me that the rice absorbed the queso like I'm that dumb I order it all the time and it's never dry like this I can come get a side of queso So you're gonna talk to me like i'm an idiot and and want me to drive all the way back across town To get caso to come back to eat cold food

Me and the wife love this restaurant so we took the family up there at 7pm to our suprise we did not get the normal welcoming greeting that we normal do. Skylar was very unprofessional and aggravated when she exclaimed that she was trying to leave early. After seating us it took forever for her to even take our drink order. She could care less about taking care of the customer's she cared more about running her mouth about how she just wanted to go to the bar so loud everyone in the restaurant could hear her over our own conversations then the few times she came to the table she was rude as .... this being said if she is working we will be taking our business elsewhere

My husband and I love this place so we stopped in with our family around 7pm lastnight. It was slow and the waitress greeted us with a guilt trip that they were so slow they were trying to close until we came in... they close at 9. It took 15-20 mins just for her to get our drink orders after being seated and she was blaming the slow service on troubles with a previous door dash order. There were a few people who came in and were seated and received the same service and she kept blaming any inconvenience on the same issue that was no longer even relevant. We had a table of 6 people and could still hear her over us telling the staff how she can't wait to get out of here and go get drunk. And not to mention she gave some dude a pitty party about a table walking out and not paying their bill so she had to pay it and it was $90 and how she has kids and can't afford it and then literally asked him for a ride to her favorite bar after her shift. The food was good as always but if Skyler is still there the next time we won't be back.
