I had a very pleasant dining experience at Fortune House. The food was made to order and was a step above most Chinese-American food. The restaurant has been a staple in downtown Owosso for good reason. The interior of the restaurant felt very nostalgic and comforting in the best way. I was pleased to see that the vintage and timeless interiors were taken care of which adds to the overall uniqueness and charm of this establishment.

This is hands down the best Chinese food in this area. The waitress is always nice and the food is amazing. I love the egg rolls and egg drop soup is my favorite. I've never had a bad experience here. Worth the money.

My dinner here tonight was incredibly disappointing. I really can’t even believe that they served me what they did in my to-go order. The sesame chicken was mostly inedible, dried out and extremely hard and all pieces of chicken with mostly rich hard breading. The egg roll was just the same, dry/hard and hard to chew. Honestly, Jade is a much better option in town.

over priced for quality of food (dried up general tso chicken that i couldn't even stab with a fork. $60 take out order..items missing and called and basically got called a liar...never again Fortune House..shame on you!!

General Tso was so hard I could not eat with a fork..old and dried out to petrication. $60 in take out and did not receive a $12 quart of chicken fried rice or sauce for fried dumplings..i called to let them know and they said I received everything I paid for! Wow! Never again..shame on you Fortune House!!!!
