Had the spaghetti and garlic bread
The sauce was very acidic and had very little meat in it. Wouldn't recommend the meal. If that's the best you can do, take it off the menu. I couldn't finish eating it

I love this place, it's between my home and Owosso so it's always in the way, go there and get some breakfast, lunch, or dinner and it's good. It's not world class, it's a diner, it's not supposed to taste amazing, it's supposed to be edible and not unpleasant. People want world class for some reason, but that diner astatic always makes me feel like I belong. Word of caution: Friday nights are ALWAYS packed, so be sure to go some other time before 5-8

Steak was cold when it got to the table. Waitress gave us multiple serving of cream peas we didn’t order. Forgot what sides ordered and gave us the wrong ones. Chicken was undercooked and fries were undercooked and unsalted.

This used to be my favorite place to go with my grandma, as a child! The food is just not the same! Hash browns soggy and crunchy at the same time! (One side got cooked) the scrambled eggs come overdone with brown on them, the sausage gravy is “premeasured”. Ergo, when it’s so watery you can barely see any, then I asked for a touch more for my last 4 bites, because it was dry, and I got charged $4.29!!! I did not ask for a whole cup! I asked for a 2oz. soufflé cup! Also, The Bill’s breakfast is hash brown with toppings and country gravy. The plate was half empty. It’s hasbtown! We always ask to substitute the gravy with chili (a 2oz. chili!!!) so instead of a substitute, they charge us $5.59 for chili! The manager would not even consider that we were never told we were being charged for chili or gravy that was visible! It was watery! Very disgusted with Greg and Lou’s. Just not conducive of a family oriented business because the customer is always right, first of all! They have NEVER taken a mistake of our bill! This is not the first time! I’m sorry but it’s just not worth the $50 I spent. I even left the server $12 because I didn’t look at the bill close enough!!!! It was $37 for two breakfasts!!!! (Before tip!) additionally… I went to the counter to dispute the charges and the manager says there’s nothing they could do! My friend was in the bathroom and, while she was in there, they threw away her Togo box! I called the manager back because my friend thought I had grabbed them, when I went to the counter, so we discovered it when we got home! Again, the manger said that “there's nothing we can do, they got thrown away”! Ok so, again, BJ’s reigns as the best place to go!

I drove 2 hours to eat here for my son before he left back to the army and worst service and even worst food. The steak was cold barely cooked and fries unseasoned and partly cold. The waitress brought out some cream peas and I said coleslaw she took 2/3 peas away only brought one slaw back. Never came back with ranch as I asked more then once. Then the managers only took $13 off bill and I brought steak home to warm up correctly. Rest of food was left on table. Not recommend and the owner was the cook she said ;( very disappointed and not happy for the price I paid.

Possibly the worst meal I've ever eaten in my life. Somehow everything was wet? My friend ordered the baked walleye it was wet and cold on the bottom, and it tasted like nothing. His cottage cheese tastes like glue, I tasted it after he laughed at his first bite. I only ate the half of my meal that didn't have hair in it. Also for a $60 meal not a thing we ordered tasted good.

I have ordered pies from Greg and Lou's for years. They are excellent. I attempted to order pies for Thanksgiving nearly a week in advance and all the ones I chose were unavailable as they sold the max amount they were making. Never experienced this before. I said OK better luck next time. Fast forward to last week. I ordered both pies that my family wanted for Christmas and called a few days later and paid over the phone. I arranged for my 87 year old grandmother to pick them up today as she lives near by and we have done it this way for years. She calls me in a panic and said "the don't have the pies and they proceeded to tell her they have already been picked up". I call around and nobody had picked them up. I call Greg and Lou's and had to explain to them what was going on and the lady said "I'll have to call you back about this". I get a call back and I am told they gave my pies to the wrong customer and only have one of the ones I ordered but had x,y and z available which were nothing we wanted but i said if I get a discount I'll take x as an inconvenience. Nope pies are all full price. Told the lady refund my money on the missing pie and I'll have grandma come back. I get a "we close at 2 but pies are supposed to be picked up by 1. Very incencere and they really didn't seem to care they messed up. We'll have to think about it if we choose to order from them in the future as I'd prefer to take our business someplace where they were happy to serve the customer and make the order correct and available.

The last few times that my friends, family and I have gone here the food and service has been subpar. Forgotten appetizers, forgotten fries, hair in my fries, scarce service, and undercooked food. I've always loved this place and recommended it but for some reason it has gone downhill this last year. I'd honestly recommend that if you're coming from out of town to enjoy some good food, think closer to home.

We have visited Greg and Lou's for a few years. It's a half-hour drive from where we live, and we especially enjoy their French Dip sandwiches. Well, today, things did not go well. Mine had a big chunk of gristle in it that I had to pull out of my mouth right there at the table. My wife's sandwich had a sizable piece of BONE in it. This was not acceptable and we told the waitress, who then brought over a manager, who told my wife that since the sandwich was mostly eaten, that she would have to pay for it. In my estimation, whether the piece of bone was in the first bite or the last, it could have resulted in injury. The management response to this was "sorry 'bout that." No adjustments were offered other than a whole new sandwich, which at this point was an insult. So, see this as a warning, this establishment bears no responsibility for choking hazards as their standards have precipitously declined.
