Tanglewood Restaurant & Lounge

As a waitress this was literally the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.
I asked at least 4 times if the rest of my order was coming out they said yes. Never got it finally got the bill and it wasn’t on there so that was a plus but why lie and say it’s on the way when it was never even put in? Half of our table got the food 15 mins after while we waited over a hour for the rest of it.

I ordered the Rosemary chicken, it had rosemary needles, for the lack of a better description, as the "crust" on the chicken. That was off putting and not great on the plate. The garlic mashed potatoes were bland and dry. The server/bartender was nice, but not really friendly. She didn't ask me how my meal was, but asked the patrons next to me, who are obvious regulars. When she asked if I wanted a box, I stated, "no, it's not that great. I'll take me check please". She brought me my check and said, "have a nice night". The atmosphere was fine, there were only a few people on a Thursday evening and everyone were regulars sitting at the bar. I won't be back, nor will I recommend. The emptiness should have been a red flag and I should have read the reviews, but I do like to give the benefit of the doubt. Lesson learned.

Just had a meal to remember at Tanglewood in the Comstock Inn! The spinach dip was top-notch, but the real stars were the chef's special chicken and black bean egg rolls. The combination of flavors was incredible, especially when dipped in the zesty jalapeño ranch. Our good fortune continued beyond the meal as we hit a win on keno. And the service? Unbeatable. Warm, welcoming, and always on point. Tanglewood isn’t just a meal out, it’s a culinary event. Highly recommend for an amazing experience all around!

The $34 ribeye was terrible (See the photo) The southern fried chicken sandwich was ok. The chicken bacon ranch wrap made my stomach hurt. Sent the steak back and they didn’t seem to care. The waitress gave us her discount to apologize that we “didn’t like it”Service was ok. If you only go for drinks you might be ok.Would not recommend.

Went yesterday 01/27/24 for lunch the older blonde waitress made me and my family feel unwelcome and like we were inconveniencing her... Food was good but we will not go back to spend money and feel unwelcome!!!

What a train wreck of an experience. Just before 6pm Monday we sit down at a nearly empty restaurant. We’re very excited to try this place out…. It’s very warm and welcoming decor.After waiting 5 min to be seated or even acknowledged.. Amber seats us and will be our server.Each trip to and from our table is like 10-15 min of waiting. Finally we get apps in… listen everything just takes FOREVER.15 min for a cocktail… I swear our apps took 35 min and then after an HOUR I’m like the kid has school like I need this to go… 15 min to bring me the billI was here for almost 2 hours… spent $100 and got cold food that died in te window but I really did have to go so I just got it Togo and paid and left. Someone needs to see what’s up that place could be great.Steak bites are the toughest cut of beef..: cheese dip for pretzels would be good if ANYTHING WAS HOT!Terrible.
