Overall everything was just average.I used to have them rated as 5 star in the "before times" and then I dropped the rating to 4 around August '23. Hopeful that it was just a bad night we returned to find everything as far as food is just average now.The Jalapeno burger was very underwhelming for a $17 burger, with fries that are just bag fries that I can make in an air fryer and have better.The beet salad was supposed to have pickled cherries, but not a one was found, or if it was there it didn't stand out in any way which we feel it should have.We liked that the Brussels came on a layer of squash puree, which was an interesting way to change them from what everyone else does.Finally the Mac-n-Cheese, no taste of an ale cheese as the description implied, the noodles were mushy in an over cooked way, and the topping was lost and bland.I'll go back for a beer with friends as our selections were very nice. We'll just skip the food in the future.Vegetarian options: A lot of vegetarian options.

Not what I was expecting for a brewing company. It I was pleasantly surprised! We went this past Friday and they have live music, which is always a nice touch. They also have some games sprinkled throughout the venue. The service was nice, very polite and prompt without being in your face. The food was fantastic! Again, not what I'd expect for a brewing company-such a great mix of fresh ingredients and dishes. The salads are a hit!

We absolutely love HomeGrown! We bring our kids and they love the toys and coloring books that they have available in the winter and the sandbox out back in the summer. Great diverse menu with excellent food and gluten free options (Much appreciated!!) Super friendly staff!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!

Used to love going here. Great beer and great food. However the last 4-5 times I've been (all with different size groups and different purposes) the service has been absolutely horrible. Sitting in a restaurant for an hour before getting food is unacceptable (despite ordering within a reasonable time frame). Beer was flat. Service was so slow it was painful. Usually the food is pretty good but the last couple times everything was super salty and overall just very mediocre. No waters refilled. And for the price - just totally not worth it. No recognition of the poor service or offer to compensate for it? Cmon - take a beer or an app off my bill when I've been here for 2+ hours not by my own fault. I did let the server now it was pretty ridiculous how long it was taking. If you don't have the staff to accommodate customers maybe don't seat customers? Or at least give a heads up that it's going to take triple the amount of time you could normally expect. Especially when we've got a crew of kids... This was also on a week night where it was not busy at all. We'll be skipping HomeGrown for a while. Stick to Tap carryout and take it to GravCap.

My hubs and I go to Homegrown quite a bit and always have a fabulous time! The owners are super nice, staff are friendly, and the food & beer are great! I love the specials! Always something new to enjoy. ? Plus, they have live music every week and their patio is dog friendly!

The food is really good, but the last 3 or 4 times I have been there it has taken an average of an hour to get our food. In two instances we weren't even greeted or gotten a drink order for 20+ minutes. Today I went with a group of ten people, it took a long time for them to come take our orders. I got the Classic, which is eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes and toast. It took well over an hour for anyone to get their food, and after everyone got their burgers, mac n cheese, etc, I still waited an additional 8-10 minutes to get my breakfast after that. Waiting well over an hour for bacon and eggs is just ridiculous. It's my husband's favorite food so we still make a point to go there occasionally, but if you are in a rush this is not the place to go! Service is not good, and often time half of the dishes come out cold.

Good service with great beers! People work there is very nice and kind. They have some Asian foods on Manu. Tried ramen and it was more of pho instead. (It was good though.). Highly recommend.
Delicious beers and food, and a good atmosphere. Started with the pretzels and beer cheese dip. Beer cheese dip was not your typical warm liquid cheese, but was delicious. I ordered the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and my husband had the jalapeño popper burger. Both were delicious. All of the beers we have tried have been delicious. Would definitely recommend for both beer and food.

(WIIILSOOON) It's so cute in here and you can take beer to go! Friends. If you have not tried this. I'm obsessed. I'm coming back every monday until I try everything on the menu. Scratch kitchen! Adorable cozy patio, and to top it all off! DOG FRIENDLY patio. I can't. It's his is my new favorite place. Im moving to Oxford to be with homegrown. Lol
