Italia Gardens Restaurant & Catering

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The food was outstanding. The restaurant was super clean-even the seats (many restaurants fail to clean the seats, so I was super impressed the moment I sat down). However, beyond the food and cleanliness was our amazing server! Her name on the receipt was Summer B. She literally made us feel so welcome. I can’t remember the last time I had a server like her. Thank you Summer for such an experience!

Me and my Wife tried to have dinner here on Friday Evening. We were seated at 7:30. Looked to be there were at least 3 waitresses working and the restaurant was 1/3 full. All 3 waitresses walked by our table and never greeted us. Then, 2 of the waitresses just stood alongside the hostess chatting. It is now 7:45. We were able to ask the bus boy if he could let 1 of the 2 waitresses that were doing nothing that we were ready to be greeted. He said “I’ll see what I can do”
At 7:52 a waitress approached the table directly next to us and asks them if they need boxes instead of asking us if we would like something to drink.
That was it for me and we got up and left. While leaving the Bus Boy said I’m so sorry and the hostess had the you know what’s to say “Have a nice Evening” while she knew exactly what happened.
They close at 9. Ample time for us to be served and out well before 9.
I wish the Hostess would have said “Well it’s 7:30 and we close at 9 and it’s Friday Night. We all have plans. I can seat you but we will all completely ignore you until you leave”
I would have been fine with that.
Just a heads up to STAY AWAY unless you arrive 2 hours before close.

Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. They were great with our kids. Very clean restaurant including the bathrooms. My only complaint would be the parking lot and exterior of the building.

The food is good. Typical Italian done well. I had the lasagna, and it was delicious. My son said it was the best salmon he has ever had, better than my grilled salmon at home which is a favorite of his. Great bread.

They take pride in their history here, which you don't usually see.

We chose to have Italia Gardens for our wedding dinner and they knocked it out of the park! They were so helpful arranging everything and we couldn't have asked for better food and service! Order lots, you won't have leftovers! Thank you guys for everything!

Cute little place for a date or even a family dinner. We ordered a few dishes, one being chicken Alfredo... no, don't waste your money. Was possibly the worst I've had. Felt like it was warmed from the day before. Especially as over priced as they are. The other 2 dishes were good but not worth the price. I feel like the quality of the food, less the Alfredo, was slightly better than chain establishments, but not the premium they are charging. Our server was much less than stellar but unfortunately service quality has deteriorated to a very sad level most everywhere. Hard to give a complete yes for this place. Hope our experience was a one off but, don't think we will return to find out.

Hopefully they’re using a healthy oil because the piccata and other dishes are literally swimming in half a bottle of it. (Not enough lemon or white wine flavor). I feel like the recipes need to be tweaked. I’m Italian, perhaps that’s why I’m so picky but I think this place needs to revise their recipes to be healthier or more flavorful and that they won’t regret it.

I used to come here all the time with my mom when she was around. One of our last visits wasn’t great—the food and overall experience were disappointing. I haven’t been back in probably close to four years.

I decided to order some food for delivery, hoping things had improved since then. Regardless of it being delivery, the complete lack of care or quality check is wild to me.

Unfortunately, it couldn’t have been further from the truth. I ordered the Alfredo and a calzone, both of which were barely edible. The sauce was completely separated, and the calzone was charred on the bottom and somehow still cold inside.

It’s sad not being able to support local businesses because the quality just isn’t there—especially when they’re charging $25 a plate for food that’s barely edible. I'm not trying to be harsh, but you can’t expect people to pay that kind of money and receive food like this.

I was eager to like this local Italian restaurant — but was surprisingly disappointed. Our party of four ordered the bruschetta appetizer which was a huge doughy bread square with chopped tomatoes on top. No basil, no balsamic vinegar, no garlic. Not bruschetta. And, sadly, other reviewers were right about the exceedingly sweet tomato sauce for spaghetti and on the lasagna. Why so much sugar?? Would recommend cutting the sugar and adding more garlic. Pleasant staff but a dreary and dated interior. We’ve driven by this place so many times but always thought the exterior portended a bad experience. Yep.
