After a long day there's nothing more pleasing then snuggling on the couch with your person and ordering restaurant food to be delivered to your door once in a while. This evening was not that moment. It really wasn't about the sub par food like the lightening Macor the ALDI style personal frozen pie, it was more about the rude inconsiderate manager assumably named Amber that told me her employees definitely put the 2 sides and the 2 sauces in the bag for pick up for Door Dash. She went on to blame the driver and when I explained that the drivers job is just that. To drive, not cook and prepare the bag for delivery. Well that just turned into I'm lying. i took 2 small sides and two sauces and hid them all because I absolutely love having to call them very diplomatically that they clearly didn't do their job. It's not a huge deal at the end of the day. Personally it's the managers deflection and mirroring that was most off putting. I thankfully had some Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce in the fridge to give some moisture to the 3 Meats Platter and a air fryer to finish cooking the cornbread not to mention a microwave to heat up the macaroni soup. Seriously though, I don't blame door dash. I blame low end management and absentee ownership. Bad Brads always wins and I learned my lesson .

Thought this was carryout only but arrived to find tables are available. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Anne was welcoming and helpful with recommendations, made us feel like family. The food was nothing short of excellent and portions were above adequate. Overall a great experience with delicious entrees. Don't skip the pulled pork!! Some of the best around. Stop off at the bakery next door for dessert.

I ordered from door dash… got not even half of my $80 order! Called DoorDash they were remaking the order called the restaurant and Amber was the most condescending person I have ever talked to all I wanted was a day date with my daughter watching movies eating bbq…she called door dash and refused to remake my order! After she told me she would and she could see it in the system! So after 1.5 hours I am out Money stress and food! Thanks Amber…way to do your job!

Super fast service, AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS food, friendly and polite staff, comfy & clean (even in the bathroom)! I went into the Restaurant because the doordash app was not allowing me to place an order period I could not have been more impressed with the less than 5 minute wait for my whole dinner order and the food was hot, fresh and tasted great! No grizzle! My fave was the Chicky Boom Boom bowl w/seasoned rice & no bacon. My taste buds were in heaven!! Thank you to the awesome ladies working last night! You made my night!

I'm going to rate this place one star just on the fact they offer delivery but 1.8 miles is too far? What a complete joke!
Yum!! Only complaint is that the tables are always dirty when I go in. Great food though.

My daughter and I visited and had the Pit Show and the Porky’s revenge. The staff was well versed on our options for combos and things and great to talk to BBQ experts! The Pit Show was incredible with Witches Brew sauce and my new go to for BBQ sandwich. My picky 15 year old loved the Porky and the Michigan Apple sauce. I own a carry out place in Oxford and am so happy that there are so many great options in Oxford! Way to go Woodchips Express!

Tried Woodchips for the first time yesterday. We are already making plans to go back again today. Very friendly people working there. We tried the keto bowl and a reuben. Both were outstanding. While waiting for our food, we were watching the digital menu. Everything looked delicious. We can't wait to go back.

Place is definitely up there in the bbq/smoke joints. Food was great. Everything from the Mac n cheese, brisket rueben and the dirty bird egg rolls were amazing and unique. Must try if in the area.
