Red Knapps is a good comfort food restaurant with some surprisingly wonderful, more formal dishes to offer as well. This is our go-to place when nothing else appeals to us. The atmosphere has a genuinely tasteful feel with paneled walls, coved ceilings, and large pictures of horses here and there. The bar area is often well attended, and I believe that televised sports are on the televisions. Wait Staff is ALWAYS very nice, pleasant, and efficient. There has never been a time that we've been disappointed or unhappy with our service nor our food.

Sat on hold for over 15mins to order 1 item. After sitting on hold assuming they forgot about me I attempted to call back and was told instantly I was being put back on hold only for them to hangup on me called a 3rd time to be hungup on again!!! If your to busy to take carry out orders just say that don't waste people's time!

Beautifully seated in the heart of downtown Oxford, located on the corner at the light. The bar is all beautiful, antique woodworking, decorated very tastfully. The atmosphere is quiet for a date & spacious for a group. Service was great even though we arrived close to closing. We had Knapp Bread & Pizza after a night at Tillson Street. Another plus it was the only place serving after 9!
Parking: It is an old but spacious, finely detailed & decorated restaurant that has several serving areas, with cozy quiet booths hidden away. They are well known for their burgers & rosemary Knapp bread & and pizza. They do an awesome carry out business, too!
Kid-friendliness: Yes, It is very family oriented and kid friendly!
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it is handicap acceptable!

We LOVE their bread, pizza, and chicken fingers. It is a tad pricey, but everything is these days. Oh..their ranch is delicious too

Great atmosphere and service, but the food is super bland. Wife had the burger, and I had some soup, and that was enough to convince me I didn't want another course. Price is good but if you are looking for something that is going to tickle your taste buds, this isn't the place.

The burger is still exactly like I remember from 2004, 20 years ago. Got carryout, and timing was perfect with a call ahead 20 minutes prior. Still hot when I got to my nearby destination.
Haven’t been back since I received a metal scrub brush in my pasta. Today I ordered and received. Extremely overcooked Pasta. Shrimp tails still on and Broken Alfredo sauce. Somehow this place stay open with such awful attention to details.

We were bought here after our hot ballon tour. The staff here is extremely welcoming and efficient. The food was good also. We had a good time and we would come back here again when in this area. We ordered whitefish and salmon. it was tasty food. This place is right on the main street and parking is in the back.
