Red Knapps is a good comfort food restaurant with some surprisingly wonderful, more formal dishes to offer as well. This is our go-to place when nothing else appeals to us. The atmosphere has a genuinely tasteful feel with paneled walls, coved ceilings, and large pictures of horses here and there. The bar area is often well attended, and I believe that televised sports are on the televisions.

Beautifully seated in the heart of downtown Oxford, located on the corner at the light. The bar is all beautiful, antique woodworking, decorated very tastfully. The atmosphere is quiet for a date & spacious for a group. Service was great even though we arrived close to closing. We had Knapp Bread & Pizza after a night at Tillson Street. Another plus it was the only place serving after 9!

Great atmosphere and service, but the food is super bland. Wife had the burger, and I had some soup, and that was enough to convince me I didn't want another course. Price is good but if you are looking for something that is going to tickle your taste buds, this isn't the place.
