Fantastic flavorful chicken shawarma. Also really loved the garlic sauce. We will definitely be getting the platter next time to give it all a try. One of the owners, Sam, was there taking orders. He was friendly and had great customer service. Very happy to have this restaurant in Oxford.
Shawarma House stands out as one of the finest locations for shawarma in the vicinity. The meat was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, clearly indicating it was prepared fresh. The garlic sauce was impeccable, and the overall balance of flavors was excellent. The prices were reasonable, the establishment was clean, and the staff was friendly and prompt in their service.
Chicken shawarma is honestly just really good—super juicy, flavorful chicken wrapped in soft pita with creamy garlic sauce and some crunchy veggies. It’s got a little kick, but nothing crazy, and everything just works together perfectly. It’s one of those meals that’s simple but hits every time. Definitely something I’d grab again without thinking twice.
