Driving south from Superior, discussing how hungry rock hounding can make a car full of women and out of the corner of our eye we spotted Catch of the Day. Let me tell you, it was better than any of the agates we found and the Onion rings were heavenly , the fish was as tasty as any my Dad ever brought home and the picnic table in the shade was a welcomed place to rest our weary bodies after 4 hours in the sun. I look forward to the next trip.

You haven’t had an Onion Ring until you have one at Catch of the day. Hand battered and fresh. Yum. The fries are great too, much better than those McDonalds served. The pulled pork smoked 12 to 14 hours. Hope to get back here one day.

Fantastic fish and chip stand. Lake trout basket with onion rings was great. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their white fish baskets as well. Would definitely recommend if venturing in the area.

Great food, great service, couple of tables NO BATHROOMS HERE.
Stopped by here after reading their reviews. So happy we found them! Flaky, not greasy fish and so fresh! Their onion rings and fries were great as well. If this is the only whitefish I have while in the U.P., I am fine with that. This was the best!

Be careful we stopped for Fresh whitefish once and enjoyed it so much we went back 3 times in the week we were at the state park. BEST. Fresh whitefish we ever had. The chicken fingers were juicy and delicious

I've had a lot of fish, but this place is the best! The owner does the batter just right and the fish is tender and not dry. If you're a fish lover, this is the place to go! Don't let the small food truck fool ya. It's worth it! Came up here from lower Michigan and I ate here more than once while visiting here on vacation. I couldn't get enough! Added note: This is the red food truck, not the black one.
