Seen a flyer for Soul food Saturday and I just had to try it. Ordered the catfish dinner and it comes with two sides (I got Max & cheese and dressing). Also, I ordered banana pudding and caramel cake for dessert.The catfish was seasoned well and moist; the dressing was moist as well and had a lot of flavor and the mac&cheese was good as well....lots of flavor with all the different cheeses and very cheesy The caramel cake was awesome the cake was really moist and spongy and the caramel sauce was fire ! The banana pudding was great as well and the serving sizes were just right. The entire meal was amazing and will definitely go there again to try another meal.The owner is very nice and personable and cares very much about the food she cooks. She cooks to order so the wait time may be a few minutes, but getting fresh food is always worth the wait. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating. Overall, it was a pleasant experience

I would not recommend booking at this venue, Josie’s in Parchment, MI. The owner, Denise (I believe to be her name) is very rude, disrespectful and inconsiderate. 0/10Many people have spoke on how disrespectful and rude she is to the people booking her spaces and the event decorators as well! Was going to subway but out of the corner of my eye I spotted Josie’s. So decided to try something different. Got a hamburger and mashed potatoes and a chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. Also got potato salad It’s to die for. Definitely will be back while I am working here.

Great spot and great food. Took a bit for the food because everything is fresh, but it was worth the wait. Recommend for sure. Keep the great food coming!
Clean place and friendly staff. The food was delicious and the portion for me 2 can eat off a salad and chicken but the rest is perfect size.. Must try and we will definitely going back.

I ordered Shrimp and Grits, and they were absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of cheese, shrimp cooked just right with excellent seasoning, and grits were the perfect amount. Also, best peach cobbler I've ever had. Big props to Ms. Josie! Highly recommend!

The food at Josie's is delicious and the staff is friendly. I had the pork chops, potato salad and fried green tomatoes, and I really enjoyed all three.It was a pleasant surprise to find fried green tomatoes being served in February (their tomato supplier must grow in a greenhouse during the winter months), and I really enjoyed talking with the owner while my food was cooking.
