Place wasn’t busy, waited 35 minutes to get a chicken sandwich and a hotdog. Food was mediocre, at best. Maybe I’m just spoiled on Chicago style hotdogs, This certainly wasn’t it.

I pulled up and was greeted promptly and offered a menu. After I had a chance to look at the menu my server stopped by and asked if I was ready to order. I ordered the foot long Chicago dog basket. I was not aware of what I truly just ordered. It came with a whole basket of fries with two generous portions of ketchup in cups, a good sized cup of applesauce (you can also choose coleslaw if you prefer), a footlong (probably more like 16 inches) 3/4 pound hotdog, and a medium mug of root beer. The hotdog was on point and looked and tasted amazing. The fries were nice and crispy. The applesauce was delicious. And the root beer in a frosted mug was probably the best I have ever had! The atmosphere was 50s drive in, so much fun. If I am in the area again I will definitely stop by again.

Appreciate the Vegan options. Veggie dog was good. Veggie Burger was either beyond or Impossible and typical. Tator tots and fries were crispy. Loved the root beer in a frosty glass mug that includes refills! Classic friendly drive-up service with a tray on the window!
Note that this is a seasonal spot. They typically close at the end of Oct & reopen in March.

Hands down the best root beer you will ever have. Get it in the frosted mug, you won't be disappointed. Food was excellent, staff was friendly and had a good sense of humor. This is the definition of a small town gem. Oh and apparently they have ice cream. 12/10 recommend. If for some reason you find yourself within 2 hours of Paw Paw Michigan lookin for a bite to eat, just go here.
