Cosmic Candy Company Home Of Pentwater Popcorn

This place is absolutely awesome! They have a massive selection of candy, drinks, ice cream, and popcorn to choose from as well as a well decorated store which is so cool to see! They had it themed out for Halloween when we went and it was the end of the season so mot everything was fully stocked but that is completely understandable. We came for a squished penny because my fiancé and I collect them :) definitely have to check out!

We've been visiting Cosmic Candy every year since they opened. It's always a fun time walking around and lookng at the various types of candy and flavored popcorn they sell. My wife laughed watching all the kids pick thru and eat all the free candy from the bottom of the jelly bean dispenser. Lol If you're a fan of gummie worms, they sell some of the LARGEST gummi candy you'll ever see! We would like to see them get in more nostalgic and/or hard to find candies from the 60's and 70's. One word of caution, don't let your kids shop by themselves. The candy isn't cheap and can add up fast $$$!

LOVE this place. We come here every time we’re in town. Kids get so excited to look through all the great candy and sweets. Old school candy store that you just don’t see anymore. Nostalgic candy and things you can’t find anywhere else. A must visit in Pentwater.

This will be the last year we visit this store. We've been coming here for the last 4 or 5 years, I can't remember when we started/when it opened up, and have made it a family tradition of sorts. We would use a trip to Cosmic Candy as motivation to get good behavior out of the kids during our vacations. Unfortunately, the price has steadily increased to the point where my wife and I just grabbed candy for the kids and we skipped the usual ice cream. I was looking forward to grabbing a malt, but the price just turned me off, not because I can't afford it, but because it's pretty outrageous... Look I get it, inflation is bad right now. I know much of the shops in Pentwater rely mostly on tourism, but I don't want to take out a second mortgage to get some ice cream, regardless of the quality or the location of the store.

This is the most expensive Cosmic Candy store I've ever been to. I'm from the Detroit area, so I've been to many...at all the malls. They have a cute fortune machine. But their bulk candy is over $25/lb, and the rest has mark up of 200-500%. Definitely a playground for the rich store.We went in the store for a "closing" sale in early Feb. They were selling all last year's stale candy, did not say anything until after the sale, and no refunds. Very disappointed.
