Totally cute, super chill local spot. I came here after a night of camping and had coffee and breakfast and read my book. The staff is friendly and the environment is peaceful. The food is great, no frills, and you get a huge portion for a great price. They make all their jams in house; try the tart cherry it’s so yummy!
We always get the breakfast burritos when we are in town. Got some cookies this time as well. Great people!
Had to report them to Health department because of cat walking on tables and across the counters over the food. Totally unacceptable. Will never ever ho there again.
I don’t care to hear or see you political opinions. A cat was roaming around, food on the floor from the night before (i’m guessing) because they had just opened. The menu look as though it was pulled from the trash and handed to us. Nope didn’t stick around for more than the like warm coffe
Lighthearted, good people, great food! This is a gem to check out.

Best sandwiches and soup in Michigan, and it’s not even close. Great food, fun atmosphere, and business owners who care about providing high quality food. Worth a trip, even if you’re not in town. Enjoy at their tables, bring it to the beach, or even on chilly day, their soups are top tier.

Food was great. Breakfast burrito and french toast. The soup also was very good. I loved the ambiance, but wouldn't be upset if it was a little cleaner and less smoky.

Chef Jeff is the best. Thanks for assembling an excellent lunch for us "after quitting time." We hope to make the trip and eat here again some day.

Quaint little place. The corned beef has was actually very finely ground - too fine for me, almost like it was run thru a food processor.Personally, this destroys the "mouthfeel" for me of eating meat and potatoes - if it's almost like a course, wet powder. The raisin toast with some type of icing on it was fantastic, maybe it was honey or something, but very nice.Service, so, so. I drink a lot of water with my meals, if I've got to get up at some point and look for more water, I'm not being properly served... so there you have it.All in all a so, so kind of breakfast and lunch spot. About the only place I could find in town to eat on an off season Sunday AM, so thanks for that!
