Totally cute, super chill local spot. I came here after a night of camping and had coffee and breakfast and read my book. The staff is friendly and the environment is peaceful. The food is great, no frills, and you get a huge portion for a great price. They make all their jams in house; try the tart cherry it’s so yummy!
Best sandwiches and soup in Michigan, and it’s not even close. Great food, fun atmosphere, and business owners who care about providing high quality food. Worth a trip, even if you’re not in town. Enjoy at their tables, bring it to the beach, or even on chilly day, their soups are top tier.
Quaint little place. The corned beef has was actually very finely ground - too fine for me, almost like it was run thru a food processor.Personally, this destroys the "mouthfeel" for me of eating meat and potatoes - if it's almost like a course, wet powder.The raisin toast with some type of icing on it was fantastic, maybe it was honey or something, but very nice.Service, so, so.
