Tried to get there mushroom Swiss burger after work recently. Asked them to put pickles but no lettuce and no onion. They got that part right by the only thing I got was a bun, the patty and one tomato. No Swiss, no pickles, no mushrooms. Was severely disappointed since it was recommended by a family member.

Our food was delicious and Nick was great behind the bar!
Excellent breakfast - great location with a view, too.
The entrees were creatively prepared and uniquely flavored.
The staff are all friendly and happy - that's contagious! I wish more restaurants knew that.

The food was amazing. We were not able to bring our dogs on the outdoor patio with us but the picnic tables across the street worked out great. Don’t let that let that stop you from going to this place.

The Cashew Walleye is one of the best fish dinners I’ve ever had! Paired with acorn squash(!), seasonal green beans, and topped with cherry butter… amazing! We were lucky enough to catch a Sunday jazz & blues live show. Top-notch experience!

Delicious! Everyone at our table complimented how good the food was. The acorn squash gets the blue ribbon. Outside dining at its best.

Great food, server was very distracted , bring wrong order for the queen. This was our fourth visit and only bad server we’ve had, the other covered for her lackadaisical behavior however so it wasn’t too terrible. The setting ( we always eat out on the deck) is a lot of fun.

The food was correct but overpriced for what you get. Service just awful. Details
I ordered pasta dish, my wife's salad. Fifteen minutes later, the server came out and said pasta isn't available for lunch. I asked if they had any non alcoholic beer.
Ten minutes later the server brought me a Bud zero. Which I didn’t order, I first wanted to know if they had any n a beer. Bud zero is a sucky drink (Fetch in nearby Whitehall makes a very nice n a beer). I sent it back.
Then ordered a salad with the ahi tuna.
Several minutes later we got water.
My wife's salad came first of course. 15 minutes later mine did.
We had to ask for water refill.
Then the bill came and it still had the Bud zero on it. I had to wish ten minutes to snag the server to get the bill taken care of.
The server was apparently new. That's fine. We had a new server at The Deck in Muskegon the other night, but she said so right away, and was excellent.
It did appear that some of the other servers were more attentive. And I note other reviews are 4-5 stars. But I have to write a re iré based on the experience that we had, which was sub par, and we would not return.
The water did taste bad, concurring with other reviewers. But no ill effects. I think it’s just rather alkali water.
