There was a time when this place had a decent breakfast. Those days have past. The last time we stopped for breakfast the service was awful, and our food was terrible. The orders were wrong, food was cold and half of it went in the trash.

Not bad, for a small town diner. The food is much better fresh (eaten in house) than it is reheated later at home. Sounds odd, but, believe me. There's always a fly or two flying around, but what can you do...? There are a Lot of fruit flies toward the back of the restaurant near the dishwashers, so sit up front. Otherwise, it's not a bad meal.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on Mimi's menu. From the mouth-watering BLTs piled high with crispy bacon to the decadent milkshakes and malts, it's all insanely scrumptious. The portions are hearty and fairly priced too.

I had breakfast. A Feta omelette. It was yummy, not greasy. Hash-browns were cooked great, not greasy. Waitstaff were helpful and nice. I would eat here again! They do serve more than breakfast.

We were kicked out of the restaurant because I complained our service was bad and it took 45 minutes to get our food. Another couple came in five minutes after we did, ordered, got their food, ate their food, paid and went out the door and we finally got our food. The owner of the restaurant was our server and I think she forgot to put our order in. My husband just found out he had cancer and we were going to his doctor appointment and the cook came out and told us to get out after the owner told him I complained. We owned a restaurant for 24 years so I know all about service. We have not been back.
