We met some friends for lunch and I was excited because we hadn’t eaten there for many years. My friend’s partner said that the Tavern was renowned for its baby back ribs. We had not been to the restaurant all summer. We stopped there on the way back from visiting family and in Jackson. We were pleasantly surprised to find it opened on a Monday. They were playing BINGO and it was nice and packed. We sat in the bar area at a high-top to have dinner. The server was slammed and it took a while to get food ordered. She forgot some of the side dishes and it took the food a long time to arrive. We both ordered the signature steaks with baked potatoes....
Had the hostess who didn't realize tables can be moved to make room for s a party of 10, so asked for manager, never showed so we just moved the tables ourselves and sat down. Once they figured it out we worked it out for them everything else was awesome. She was young so we don't hold it against her. she just needed more experience was all but she was working so we give her credit for that.
