The service was exemplary. The food.....not so much. Started with calamari. The calamari itself was perfectly tenelder and cooked throughout. The breading was softened and slimy from saucing. Every dish besides pasta had globs of sauce and oil on them. The crab pasta was just fettuccine with canned lump crab meat on top. That was not cooked. The braised beef pasta was rigatoni with stewed meat. Also had duck that was a bland overcooked lump atop a sweet potato prepared fontina style. Overall, would not recommend.

Dana is an amazing waiter that we ask for every time we’re here, which is at least once a week, the owner is very hospitable and greets everyone with a smile. A perfect restaurant for every event!

The bread accompanying our salad was burnt and should not have been served. My salmon was overcooked and dry. Additionally, my sides were cold. I returned the dish and received an undercooked salmon, which I attempted to eat but found nauseating. The server returned with an attitude, stating that the owner would arrive eventually. She offered dessert, which I declined, citing that I had not eaten. She responded rudely, suggesting I order whatever I desired. The manager eventually arrived, offering me any dish I preferred and waiving the bill, as they would not honor our Groupon. I opted for the filet, which was similarly priced. However, it arrived overcooked, contrary to my request. At this point, we had been at the restaurant for 2.5 hours, so I simply ate it. Interestingly, they ultimately requested our Groupon. Despite having visited this restaurant multiple times since its opening, this experience was disappointing. Although the manager attempted to rectify the situation, it ultimately fell short.

Dana was fantastic! We went on a Friday night to celebrate my mom’s birthday and had a wonderful experience. A talented violinist was performing, the service was excellent, and the interior decor was very nice. Looking forward to going back again!
