Amazing market. It has a fantastic wine selection and many authentic Italian grocery items. I recommend going to the fresh food counter around lunch and getting their premade sandwiches.

Always enjoy meeting friends for dinner or lunch at the trattoria. All the food is delicious, the wine list is superb, the cocktails are amazing. Can't go wrong with anything ordered, from pizzas to pastas, appetizers and desserts, everything is great. Always have excellent service every time I visit.

The bakery here is awesome!! They have the best premade pizza dough I've ever had. The tiramisu is also world class. They also have a great selection of homemade fresh pastas and sauces. If you're looking for premade sandwiches, I highly recommend the porketta. Not much to not like about this store other than their liquor prices are above state minimum high is kind of unusual for big stores like this one. Please note that this review only applies to the store on Haggerty north of six mile. The old Livonia location is not even comparable and should probably be closed.

I recently ordered two pastry trays for a college event and although they were nice, they were both much smaller than expected. They were supposed to serve 70-80 people and at best served 40 people. The price was very high for what I received. I also investigated Cantoro's as a place to host a bridal shower but was told that the food price was subject to change at any time even up until the day of the event. No other venue had such a policy. Suggest looking elsewhere for catering options.

Did you know Cantoro's has a little shop upstairs you can purchase kitchen items!?! I bought a coffee press there. It's just the cutest. They also have the best gluten free pasta that I've ever had straight from Italy. YUM!
Absolutely horrible experience here this past weekend, Saturday. Party for 8 took over 3 hours to have dinner. Several main entrees came out cold, with the filet coming out looking like a hockey puck. We ate in 4 shifts across the group for the main course. When you spend $700 on a dinner, you expect everyone to be able to eat together. Service waiter Trevor nice guy, but stretched too thin to cover the number of tables. Ours being a larger party was apparent to be an afterthought. Tables around us turned over 3 times by the time we finished. No priority given to larger party for a special dinner. Then mistakenly charged for dinner to be taken off and asked if my credit card limit could cover the temporary hold of original plus the recharge. Absolutely embarrassing. A must avoid for larger parties. After several weeks of trying to get a reservation for 8, this was truly disappointing. Manager nowhere to be found.

Food: 4 stars. Service: 2 stars. We went there for lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday. I made reservations a week in advance, for an 11:45 am time slot. We were seated in the bar area, not the dining room, even though it was only half full when we arrived. (My husband said he was ok with it, so I didn't ask to move, but he later admitted that the dining room would have been nicer.) We were right near the stairs, where staff and vendors were traipsing up and down throughout the meal. It was like sitting next to the kitchen. When someone takes the trouble to call and make a reservation, stating that it's a special occasion, give them a nice table, for crying out loud! It didn't get better. Our server was gone for long stretches, forgot to bring the butter we asked for, and never offered to refill my iced tea. While packing up our leftovers, she made a comment that many people get a half order of pasta. There is nowhere on the menu saying that half orders are available, and neither did she ask us what size we wanted when she took our order. I would have gotten a half order for sure had I known it was available. Cantoro's, you need to do better!

Worst Experience Ever! I'm not the one to leave a negative review, but I have to warn bigger parties that want to go there for a nice dinner. We were a party of 8, reservation was for 5:45, we didn't leave there till 9pm! Our server had to be reminded a million times for an extra glass or straw. Forgot to put certain meals in, and then said that would be taken off the bill since it was his fault. (Which he didn't) When our dinner did come out, 3 of the entrees were ice cold and a filet we ordered "medium" came out well done and charcoaled on the outside. So of course a manager was going around asking tables if everything was good, and when we told him about our current situation he said he would go find out what's going on with our entrees. Our entrees came back warmed up, but the manager never came back to follow up. It was a busy night I understand that, however if there's a problem a manager should try to correct it. Instead we had a $800 bill and a restaurant that ruined our family's night out.

We shop here almost every other week to get pasta, sausage, bread and cheese grated there. The service is fast and knowledgeable. If you go on the weekends it is very busy but during the week it slows down. They also have a restaurant that has food from the store but also other things too. The restaurant is amazing tasting food but the you will need reservations.
