10 out of 10. Chicane is a wonderful establishment. Have been multiple times with my wife. And most recently we threw our company Christmas party in their ballroom. We had over 60 people in the space and it was a magnificent event. Would 100% use them again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun night out or a beautiful space to throw a party.

Banquet hall attached.
Disco balls are set up and ready for NYE.
Three cargo trains run right behind the restaurant.
Ordered spiced pear smash, last word, lavender berry, Michelob light, Chardonnay, roasted beet salad, Caesar, caldo verde, fried brussel sprouts, roasted chicken, butternut ravioli, mushroom risotto, cheese burger, butter noodles, scallops and creme brûlée. Our portion of the meal was $152.11
The drinks were good.
The cranberry focaccia is good, sweet, doughy, billowy and good. The whip of butter is tasty. The dinner roll is slightly sweet, reminds me of Hawaiian roll.
The mushroom risotto is okay.
The Brussel sprout is a bit bland, could be sliced up into small slices, to make them more crispy.
The fish and chips is a grilled bass, potatoes are sliced fingerling potatoes. Wasn’t bad.
The butternut squash ravioli, roasted chicken, hamburger.
The scallops are small, root vegetables are decent. It’s okay.
Creme brûlée is different with the chai.
Service was good.

Chicane has been a wonderful addition to Old Village Plymouth and has quickly become one of my favorite spots. From the bustling live music featuring talented artists to the seasonal menu that inspires me to try something new every time I visit.
The waitstaff is swift and professional, and the bartenders seem to have a magic touch when it comes to cocktails (the Winter Drift is my new favorite and I’m hoping it becomes a mainstay). The chefs and cooks are the unsung heroes behind the scenes, rounding out the experience with thoughtful preparation of quality ingredients. For once, I truly feel like I got my money’s worth.
I can’t wait for my next visit. For first-timers, I highly recommend the lamb meatballs (they are spicy, so ask about sauce accommodations before ordering), the French onion soup—which is to die for—and any of the steak options. I honestly can’t pick a favorite, because I think it’s more the talent of the cooks than just the quality of the meat that makes them so delicious.

Dinner at Chicane was amazing! The food, service, and atmosphere were all incredible. Some of my favorites included the chicory salad, brussels sprouts, and wagyu ribeye. I can't wait to go back!

Chicane is a rare gem. So unique and beautiful. The food is top notch and changes with the season. The entertainment in the evening makes it a special night out. The waygu steaks are the best I have ever had. Wood fire grill takes it over the top.

Edit Winter 2025: 2 bad experiences in a row and one so-so occurrence. Servers very inexperienced...kitchen staff has probably never worked at a high end place except the head chef... but he can't be everywhere at once. Food was cold or slightly warm and meh. When I come to a place like this I don't want the standard of what the general public would eat at a diner; I want the standard of delicate care and careful attention that goes into every part. I'll give it a rest and won't visit until spring and see if it's any different. Cancelling reservations for holidays. Hopefully it's still around in Spring.
Summer to Fall 2025: Awesome place. High standards for cleanliness and food quality. You can't ever go wrong with that.

Great atmosphere and waitstaff...but the braised short rib appeared to be cooked more like a piece of chuck roast and was on the dry side. Pasta dishes were very good but small portions.

Full and honest assessment. My wife and I went to this restaurant last night for the first time based on reviews from Friends of ours. We went as a double date. When we arrived we told the hostess that we were about 10 minutes early and that we would be at the bar until our table was ready. After waiting about 20 minutes at the bar, we went back to the hostess stand and she had forgot about us. She told my wife to go get me and then sat us at the table that she was getting ready to sit someone else at. Because of the wait, the bartender, who was wonderful , comped my beer which I thought was nice. We ordered appetizers and drinks and entrees. I had the filet steak with a half pound of king crab legs which was amazing and everyone else liked their food as well. However, our server took a very long time to get us our food. She claims it was because of some brussel sprout dish that was holding it up but that dish wasn't even for us . She tried to give it to us but it was for a different table. She never refilled our waters. At one point , for our second round of drinks, I finally had to go to the bar because it had been 20 minutes for two beers and two cocktails. Once we got our bill and we put our credit cards in, the waitress took so long to come grab that that I had to go to the bar a second time and ask him to cash me out. I think she realized she had messed up quite a bit when she really tried to sell our goodbye . Telling us to drive safe and happy holidays and while all that was nice I would have taken half of that attention for better service during dinner. I served tables for 7 years when I was younger. I typically tip between 20 and 30%. I left $5 on a $300 bill and I'm not sure why I even left the $5. The service was awful. The food was very good but don't expect great service . Maybe it was just the server we got which is possible but between taking forever, the excuses , not bringing us water , me having to make two trips to the bar and no prebusing whatsoever from her, there was much left to be desired.

Their event space is GORGEOUS and unmatched in Plymouth. The party room is elegant and was the perfect setting for a company event. We had 75 guests - the in-room private bar, staff, and decorative extras were fantastic. The room's temperature and lighting controls were great. Excellent space for a lovely event.

Nice reasonable prices for brunch, a little more pricey for dinner. Friendly staff, family and festive atmosphere. They also have a bar, small stage, and nice banquet facilities with screened and heated patio. Big parking lot. Wave to the train engineer.

A true gem in the heart of Old Village, Plymouth, Michigan. The decor brings eclectic and sociable energy to the environment. Different textures, colors, lighting, all makes Chicane even more unique. Comfortable seating, beautiful views, and an acoustically tuned dining room to where you can hear the conversation on your right while listening the band on your left. An excellent wine list was obviously, thoughtfully curated to pair with the delicate (or robust) flavors in every dish. The food coming out of the kitchen was perfection; beautifully plated, meticulously crafted, and promptly presented. Fresh, housemade pasta, high quality marbled steaks, fresh seafood, and bright and beautiful greens filled the plates (and my belly) with perfectly sized portions. I highly recommend slowing down into this Chicane, throw it in park, and cruise inside to enjoy an elevated dining experience that will not only satisfy, but keep you wanting more.

My husband and I ate at Chicane's last night for our anniversary and were blown away. From the moment we walked in, the service was top notch. The atmosphere and waitstaff were fantastic (thank you, Susie!).
We ordered the bone marrow appetizer, the Denver Wagyu with zip sauce (my husband added a lobster tail to his order), broccolini, mushroom risotto, many delicious cocktails, and the chai latte creme brûlée. Everything was outstanding!
Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. We cannot wait to return.

Service was amazing, food was exceptional and the music was really good (and I'm not a big fan of live dinner music!).
Top notch from start to finish.
