Everything was fabulous except for the price of their house wine; $14.00 a glass. This is ridiculous; we will never go back; we spent $56.00 for four glasses of wine which probably cost $20.00. Too bad, we like the place but prefer not to be ripped off.

I really wanted this to be our go-to Irish pub not having one in Northville but we were disappointed all around. Pricey for the quality/quantity of food: $23 fish n chips tasted freezer burnt and was two small pieces with a small handful of fries, the $17 caesar salad had little dressing/croutons, but the pretzel was decent. Definitely not a true Irish pub with the offensive $15 dollar "Irish car bomb" on the menu. The staff behind the bar, specifically Brittany, were unprofessional for a bar this expensive by talking about customers 5ft from us sitting at the bar and tried sneaking a beer onto our bill. I was given the bill, which was correct, and gave my credit card to pay the bill provided. The staff whispered by the computer and when my charged card was returned I found an extra beer I did not drink was added without telling me. When asked she claimed they both thought they gave me a beer but I find that hard to believe since we were exclusively served by Brittany. Other staff like the hostess and runners were friendly/professional. The atmosphere was more like a well lit quiet lounge and the bar area was small. We will be driving past Doyle's to go to Sean O'Callaghan's in Plymouth next time.

Had a wonderful meal recently at Doyle’s. It was my first time visiting and I was so impressed by the atmosphere, service, and food. I had the beet salad, cheese curds, and mac & cheese bites (which were to die for). Lots of vegetarian options for me! Food was timed perfectly and the staff was so attentive. We even got to meet the chef, Paige. Can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu.

The upstairs area lighting situation is a non-starter. Harsh halogen spotlights do not make for a dining atmosphere. I suggest ditching the spotlights and replacing with the indoor/outdoor string lights.
Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options, such as lentil shepherds pie.

I was looking for a place to hang out and chat with a friend. We stumbled onto Doyles. The food was excellent, the service was fast and smooth. We also were able to chat because even though it was busy it was not too loud. We started out downstairs and ended upstairs in the bar to finish out the night and watch the NFL game We were watching downstairs. Staff was friendly and happy.

My partner and I have been coming to Doyles regularly since it has opened. It is a very beautiful establishment. We have witnessed the growing pains and have certainly seen improvements over the last month. It's getting there! But what we witnessed this past Friday evening though, was appalling. Management felt it necessary to step behind the bar and create nothing short of a ridiculous display. She was lashing out at employees and slamming things around. She caused a very disruptive scene for quite a large audience. It was very uncomfortable to witness which has lead me to write this review. Issues with food and the wait times are a part of the growing process, we are aware. We are patient and very understanding and are looking forward to the day when things are on point here. There has been vast improvement as I have stated but we do hope to never witness a repeat of our last visit.

After calling the previous evening to make reservations for a Friday dinner, I was told no reservations were being taken because of a private party upstairs but to just come in and the downstairs and patio will be open for public. So we arrived early, 5:30, Friday and the hostess asked if we had a reservation!!! After explaining that we’d called the evening before and were told just to come in early we’d be able to dine. The hostess was not very friendly nor helpful. In fact she was rather rude. Needless to say we probably won’t return. Too bad because our first experience at Dolyle’s was delightful!
Really enjoyed our time dining at Doyles! The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and enjoyable for diners of all ages. Some of our favorites were the Vegan Crab Cake appetizer (the aioli sauce is so yummy!!), the Paddy Melt and the Rueben. Looking forward to returning to try some of the heavier dinner options!

We went for my mom's birthday dinner. Absolutely loved the atmosphere. Our waitress was excellent and the food was really yummy. Two had reubens, one had the fish and chips, one had the patty melt and I had the lentil shepards pie. All of us enjoyed our plates. However I had to deduct a star because when a hungry man sees that the reuben sandwich is suppose to have a 1/2 pound of meat per the description and it comes out looking really whimpy, that is not a good thing especially for the cost. Lol We will definitely be back though.

3 stars to average it out.
Server was great, service as a whole was extremely slow, if you like two glasses of wine with dinner order them together. Food came out cold, all of the dinners (so cold they took soup off our bill.) Vegan options are great, disappointed with the lentil Shepard’s pie, very sugary. The atmosphere of the place is great and worth the shite dinner ⭐️⭐️
The main restaurant and patio are so charming. We ate on the outside patio on a brisk Friday night. They had plenty of heaters to take the chill off. It is a beautiful setting… A great addition to the Northville-Plymouth area. The menu is solid and the food is very good. Everyone loved the reuban egg roll appetizers (6 halves is a nice portion size to share!). We also enjoyed the fish and chips, and shepherd pie! The beers coming from the bar were very slow to arrive. Still early days but hopefully they can smooth out that part of the service. Serving beers should be the easy part to get right.
