7:00 dinner on a Monday evening. Was promptly approached order taken. Great, friendly service and the massaman chicken was superb! The owner came out to talk and was very friendly.

Mali Thai was superior. Better than this new Thai Spoon. We get lunch on Friday at my job and we frequent at Mali Thai, so we wanted to try the new restaurant. The Basil fried rice was bland, and dry. Drunken noodle was dry and the noodles are oddly dark and too salty, got fried tofu in it and it’s SO chewy and has no flavor. Spring rolls came with 3 instead of 4 like Mali thai and they gave us a cup of PLAIN WHITE VINEGAR with our spring rolls, I have NEVER. Not to mention they only had bean sprouts and shredded carrots in them. There was also no pineapple in my pineapple curry! I’m extremely unimpressed.

They closed down the business and sold to a new owner renamed Thai Spoon. I missed the food from Mali Thai. New owner w new chef and the dishes cannot compete with what Mali Thai used to be. They didn't taste good at all. Pad Thai Curry is terribly sour like you are eating w vinegar. The meats are not fresh at all.

1. Barely any chicken in my my pad Thai.. about 3 very thin pieces..2. Tum yum soup had 2 small shrimps and lacked other ingredients normally seen in such soup..Will not bother again in the future

Best Thai food in the Southeast Michigan. And a really good price. I don't think that they serve alcohol anymore. They let the license expire during the pandemic. Still, fantastic food. I get the Chicken Chang Mae Noodles, and my wife gets the Tofu Pad See Eww. The soups are also good.Lots of vegetarian options.

Pad Thai is really good just need to update there closing time online says 9 but they close at 8 so be careful when ordering

I actually like their food, but find the experience of dining here boring. Their primary focus seems takeout, I feel it whenever I stay. Tonight our take out order was refused at 8:04pm on a Friday. Please fix your hours here if you feel like closing an hour+ early on an ongoing basis.

Very good local neighborhood Thai joint. The staff are friendly and patient, even if a customer has a lot of food allergies.The curries are best here - get the gaeng kheow warn. Avoid the matsaman; for some reason they want to put pineapple in it.If you want noodles go with drunken, they are unusually good here.

Vegetarian options: Meat optional, so go as veggie-heavy as you want!

Kid-friendliness: My boys have been eating here since they were 3 & 6, and they love it. The staff have always been kind.

Dietary restrictions: My youngest has about eight food allergies, multiple of which are in play here. They always work with us to make sure he's eating safely.

Ordered 2 orders of pad tai - one mild, one mild plus. Neither was marked and the exact same spice level which is bland. So they just ignored the specifics of my order. Food from here is either way too spicy or bland, there is no middle.

Should be 6 Stars. Have been ordering from Mali Thai for years and I look forward to the next order after every meal. Hands down the best thai food I've ever had. Very friendly and professional service. Always clean and enjoyable atmosphere. My food is cooked and prepared perfectly every time. My only "problem" is when I have no more food left on my plate because I eat it too quickly.

This is our go to Thai restaurant for take out. Best tasting, even is heat levels aren't always consistent. Medium sometimes is mild.

Delicious food. They are short on staff but they work very hard to take care of you. Large portions, everything is delicious and beautifully plated and even while very busy the staff is friendly and polite.

Great Thai food! Best hot and sour soup! Had m24 the peanut curry and my friend had the drunken noodle,both were excellent!
