The Plymouth Coffee Bean is one of the original coffee houses that existed long before Starbucks took off. Here we have an actual converted house that is perfect for artists, students, bohemians of kinds and anyone that is looking for a unique atmosphere. I started coming here when a friend from high school took me here back in 1995 and I've been a regular visitor since.
The coffee is good with a lot of unique options. Special brews and recipes that you want find at the main coffee chains are available along with some decent food options. Last time I went they made some great crepes as well as coffee. Ultimately I came for the coffee and stayed for the atmosphere. Give it a try if you want something new than the normal coffee fair.

2025 update: Well, they’ve cranked up their prices. Mightily. I’ve been forced to find alternatives to them for our favorite ground coffee - $23/lb is way too rich for my budget. Both Walmart and Meijer have a decent enough substitute. I do stop in once in a while for a mocha, but my twice monthly stop for 2 lbs of ground coffee is in the rear view mirror.
Original review: Their toasted coconut coffee has absolutely ruined me for any other bean. Plus, they make a damn fine mocha! We stop in often for ground toasted coconut coffee to feed our coffee maker, and occasionally for something hot to sip while strolling around Plymouth.

Funky lil coffee shop with sprawling rooms full of art and comfortable places to sit. Also features a nice rotating menu of sweet and savory baked goods.

Good coffee house to hang out. Parking is not the best but it’s downtown Plymouth.

First time in and I made my order. They got both drinks wrong. Parts of the bathroom are falling apart and are taped on.
Other than that, seems like a nice and cozy place.
