In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

It's a smaller, somewhat cozy Starbucks. The staff is nice and friendly. The kids enjoyed their cake pops.

We also ordered a pink drink, a vanilla crème, and hot matcha latte. The pink drink at Starbucks is always enjoyable. However, the matcha latte wasn't that great. They either used low quality matcha, burnt the matcha by preparing it with too hot water, or both. Either way, the matcha latte had a very pronounced bitter aftertaste.

I had some time before my meeting, so decided to swing by to get some latte. Street parking was simple, after parking, placed my order online. Went in and the drink was being made, it was nice that it wasn't busy, because from the time I parked, ordered, went in to pick-up the drink, it took about 3 minutes!
