I asked for Red Thai curry and instead they gave me Pad Thai Curry noodles. I asked for specially if they can accommodate last minute order which they said yes. They just gave me whatever is leftover. Instead of which the could have just denied. Counter person still tried to prove that I placed the wrong order!!

My boyfriend and I came here after a Christmas party to sketch and have some food. We started with bubble tea which was yummy, I was surprised it was frozen and kind of like a smoothie. He got mango and I got passion fruit. I don’t really like the way frozen boba makes the tapioca hard, but alas.
We actually had to leave and come back because we forgot something at the party, and the staff was so understanding. We came back and decided we wanted food. My boyfriend got a thai noodle soup and I got drunken noodles. The soup was presented so beautifully, a little flame under the pot kept the soup warm. Both of our dishes were super yummy. The soup was a little heavy on the lemongrass, but still yum. The ladies who were working were so friendly. We had a great time and it is so cool that the restaurant was open so late!!

There are a lot of good thai restaurants around here and Thai ocha is one of the best. But what sets them apart is 3am on the weekend!! Writing this at 1:30am during a snow storm while I wait for my food. Never disappoints

I don’t normally leave bad reviews but I tried this place for the first time and my food tasted not so great. The noodles had a weird flavor to them and I couldn’t eat more than 5-6 bites.

I’m one of the regular customers, last time the food was not great. Didn’t taste good. Didn’t get food from here for few weeks. Today wanted to give another try, I always order same meal, today was worse than last time. I am done with this place.

It’s getting crowded and more take orders but this place forgot the basics. Authentic food and good taste is gone.

If I could give Thai Ocha more than five stars, I honestly would. From the moment we walked through the door, the entire experience felt like stepping into someone’s home—not just a restaurant. The ladies working there were some of the kindest, funniest, and most genuinely welcoming people I’ve ever met in any dining place. It wasn’t just customer service; it was hospitality that made us feel like we were part of a family meal.

Right away, they greeted us with huge smiles and this warm energy that made the whole place feel different from any other restaurant. You know how some places feel rushed or detached? Thai Ocha was the complete opposite. They took time to talk to us, joke with us, and make sure we were completely comfortable. It’s the kind of friendliness that instantly relaxes you, like, “Okay, I’m in good hands here.”

And the food—I don’t even know where to begin. Everything tasted like it was made with so much care, like every dish had actual love behind it. The flavors were perfectly balanced, rich, and fresh. You could tell the recipes were perfected over years, maybe even passed down. The moment the plates hit the table, you could smell those amazing spices before you even took a bite. And then once you do take that first bite? Life-changing. Every bite just kept proving that this was easily some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had—if not the best.

What really stood out to me was that nothing felt mass-produced or rushed. Every dish tasted handcrafted, like someone was in the kitchen making it exactly how they would for their own family. The presentation was beautiful, the portions were perfect, and the flavors just kept building—sweet, savory, spicy, comforting, all at once. It was the kind of meal where you sit back after a few bites and go, “Oh yeah… this is going to be one of those meals.”

The ladies didn’t just drop off the food and disappear, either. They constantly checked in on us in the sweetest, funniest ways. They cracked jokes, shared little stories, and made the whole meal even more memorable. You could tell they truly care about the people who walk into their restaurant, not because they have to, but because it’s who they are. Their personalities made the whole experience feel fun, relaxed, and special.

By the time we were leaving, we genuinely felt like we were saying goodbye to friends—or honestly, like family. It’s rare to find a restaurant that has both phenomenal food and this level of warmth and kindness. Thai Ocha isn’t just a great place to eat; it’s the kind of place that makes you feel seen, welcomed, and appreciated. It’s a spot where the atmosphere, the people, and the food all come together to create something unforgettable.

If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, wonderful people, and a vibe that feels like home, Thai Ocha is the place. I’d go back a thousand times. Highly, highly recommended

What I ordered vs what I received! I’ve never had a bad experience here. Tonight, after giving me the wrong food I was told no refund. Didn’t offer to remake! I can’t have egg & I don’t eat spice. I called she was not friendly or understanding! Mad I paid in cash I would have filed a dispute! I also tipped them.

First time here. So impressed. Beautiful and comfortable and relaxing interior. Very kind staff. Delicious food.

Great prices and service. Brought us big ice water and basket of rice chips at no cost. Never pressured or asked us for additional drinks or appetizers. Definitely coming back! They have boba tea smoothies and shaved ice desserts. Largest Thai food menu I've ever seen and great options.
