If you want a special night out that you will truly cherish forever in a very unique setting that is still warm, very friendly, and comfortable with an amazing vibe and extraordinary food and drinks and reasonable prices - Ebenezer is the place for you! First Class all the way, and every customer is treated as if they are seated in first class! Jimmy the owner makes sure everyone is being taken care of and will see to it that you are enjoying yourselves, especially if it is a special occasion, and then he will make it even more special for you! The staff all work together in harmony so you always have your wants or needs met. Have never experienced such an atmosphere where everything is ran so smoothly and everyone is so happy! They already have it tastefully decorated for Christmas , too. On a scale of 1-10 this place gets a 10 gazillion +++++! You really must try it, you will not be disappointed! You will love it as we just did!

I love the Ebenezer. The only thing is we were rushed out due to another reservation and the vibe was great. We could have sat there all night and enjoyed cocktails and the ambiance but instead they said we had to go due to another reservation.

The cocktails were mediocre. However, the most surprising aspect was the default 22% gratuity, which was not mentioned anywhere except when we were handed the check. It was ridiculous to be charged such a high gratuity for a group of four!

It's been a couple of years since I've been to The Ebenezer, but we went there tonight to enjoy a cocktail after dinner. The cocktails are still original and well-crafted. The decor is still cozy, except for the tables in the bar area (where we were seated), which make church pews feel like a Barco-Lounger. The staff is still extremely attentive and pleasant (5 stars!). What has changed the most is the music that's blaring in the bar area! 80's and 90's rock in a speakeasy?!?! Volume all the way up?!?! Sorry, that's not at all in the theme of a speakeasy. It's definitely the first time I've ever heard “Highway to Hell” playing in that kind of establishment!!! Assign the music to someone who understands what a speakeasy is and it'll be a 5-star establishment once again.

Made reservations for two on a Friday night. Ordered two drinks. Only received one. Took over 20 minutes to get the second one. Waitress was apologetic and offered free dessert. An hour and 15 min later we’re being told we need to leave because another party had our table. There were multiple open tables available, yet they were rushing us out. Would not go back. Also, the place smells like cigarettes.

Sydney recommended the best drinks! I normally hate bourbon and she ordered me a “Breakfast of Champions” and now I will order it everytime! Best server we’ve ever had!

The loud club music definitely didn't fit the vibe of the place. Enjoyed our cocktails and only had popcorn for a snack. They fix the music situation and they'll nail it. Likely going to continue to go to the last word in A2 until then.

Always a fun spot to visit. The environment is dark, the couches are comfortable, and the drinks are tasty. Perfect for a date night out when you need to catch up with your wife. Staff is friendly and attentive. A nice addition to the variety of the bars in downtown Plymouth.

My cousins and I hit up The Ebenezer and enjoyed delicious cocktails. The seasonal syrup was a strawberry peach - I tried that with Titos. Refreshing with the taste of real fruit. I also tried the Pineapple Daquiri, which is made with pineapple rum not pineapple juice. It packs a punch! My cousin got a classic Cosmopolitan that she LOVED so much, she ordered too. Our group also tried a few other options and everyone left having loved their cocktails. Thank you!

This place is amazing with live jazz every Sunday 6-9pm. I love this scene. It is certainly one of Detroit Metro’s best kept secrets. It is hard for me to find a place where I can sit to eat from a couch and the table is the appropriate spot. This is a perfect date spot.
