I had the hippy hash and my husband had the steak and eggs. Both very bland with not a lot of flavor and just not the quality we were expecting. My MIL had the lobster Benedict and she said there was barely any lobster on it. My daughter had a simple fried eggs breakfast and the eggs but they were burnt all around the edges that she cut most of the whites off and just dipped her toast in the yolks. We had to wait a really long time for our drinks and then once our drinks were empty it was 15 min before the waitress came back to ask if we wanted another drink. Overall we had been very excited to go here for brunch and left underwhelmed...

First time coming here. And all I have to say is wow! Everything was absolutely amazing. The server, Jake was on top of everything didn't skip a beat. Knew his menu and was good at giving suggestions. Anyways thanks for a great first experience! Ima tell all my friends about it 😃😃

Really great restaurant with great service! The food was delicious, and the space small but very well designed. The whitefish dip and salmon BLT was AMAZING!

I had a terrible experience here at sardine room. It was my mom’s birthday and we were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids. The server as well as management decided it was okay to seat us at a table that is fit for 2, maybe 3. They watched us struggle in various ways. We had no room for all our dishes, we had to carry some plates to make room until our service came, which took forever sometimes, so there we are carrying plates in our hands. I asked our waitress if we could move to the bigger table that was open for 20 mins. This table was fit for 6 people, which would have been perfect for my group. And her response was, we need to keep this table open for other guests. 20 mins later they seat 2 adults here?!!! I don’t know how it wasn’t uncomfortable for them to watch. When I approached management ( he said his name was Dean. He wears nail polish on his nails and has a ponytail) he rudely dismissed us. This place is not family friendly nor have observational skills.

My girlfriends and I came here for Sunday brunch and were excited for a fun morning out. My friend got a Bloody Mary and said it was good. I ordered the buttermilk waffle with berries and cream and a side of house potatoes. The waffle was not buttery and soft like I thought it was going to be, it was dry and if it wasn’t for the cream would be like the Sahara. I should have asked for butter but didn’t. The potatoes lacked so much flavor, our server said they were seasoned so I assumed they would have some seasoning on them. Nothing, nada, not even salt and they were kind of burnt. Smidge disappointing. My other two friends both got the salmon BLT. They said it didn’t knock their socks off, but it was good. They said it was a good price for salmon. My other friend got the 2 eggs, bacon (extra crispy), house potatoes and wheat toast. She said it was just ok, and they gave her butter. Our server was nice, friendly, said after we paid we could stay and chat if we wanted, but never came back to ask if we wanted anything else. All in all, it was good, but not amazing. We had a reservation and were seated right away.

Servers can make or break a dining experience. Our waitress definitely made our experience memorable! It was so memorable we won’t return! Only came three times first to take our order, after I sent my fries back for being served cold ( another server delivered our food and the second order of fries) we looked for our server several times, with no luck. The third time to deliver the check.
We had ordered the wedge salad $7. a burger $11. And fries $3. The burger came with a squirt of mustard… we requested ketchup and mayonnaise. The ketchup is spicy, I was unable to eat it, so I had to eat bland fries and a burger of mustard and mayo. The fries were served cold. The salad was ok. Nothing special, very few pieces of blue cheese.
We were left alone for long periods of time unless we called over another server.
To give a grade the server a D
Food a C.. it was just ok
Presentation? There wasn’t any. ? F
When leaving I asked the server is your ketchup always spicy, her reply was yes but we have regular ketchup you just have to request it. Duh! I would have if the server had BOTHERED to check on us.
Left the restaurant complained to the hostess and saw our waitress outside serving other tables…maybe take care of ALL of your tables ( like the ones seated in the BACK of the restaurant in a booth)
Seriously not a great experience at all…

One of my favorite places for raw oysters. They do them so well here in Plymouth. Happy hour specials before 6 too!

The shrimp and grits are fantastic, the Captains Bloody Mary is a meal in itself! Highly recommend. Shrimp and Grits. Still the best I've had.

Sardine room happy hour is a joke. We sat outside and were handed a happy hour menu & we ordered off the happy hour menu to find out the any outdoor seating does NOT get the happy hour pricing. First off, why are they handing us the happy hour menu to not let us have the happy hour offer… talk about dangling a carrot in your face. No where on the menu does it say happy hour excludes outdoor seating… maybe that should be included to avoid customer disappointment? Also why do you only get happy hour if you sit in a special area inside? Poor poor business model. At least their food was good and service was quick.
