One of the best environments I've eaten at in a while. Stopped in while working with some friends and brought my own sandwich. The workers were so curious that he gave me a sample. Will be returning for some full meals!

Very authentic. I love the huaraches con bistek. Make sure that you understand some Spanish words because the menu isn't in English. The place is small and I don't think there is heat. The price is very reasonable.

By far the BEST authentic Mexican food in the Pontiac area. They have authentic unique and hard to find specialty items like Huitlacoche quesadillas and Flor de Calavaza Quesadillas. If you want to try something truly unique when it comes to choosing a Mexican restaurant then make sure you try these items.

Very good. Very friendly. Very small. Just the kind of place I love. Authentic Mexican not American Mexican. Going on the rotation.

YES!!! This is a tiny little hole in the wall, but it was clean and tidy, and the food was amazing!!!! I am so glad to have found it! The proprietors were beyond kind, eager to please, and tried hard to communicate in English. I speak Spanish, so it was no problem to communicate easily, but I believe they'd do well even with English-only speakers. If you prefer bland, Americanized Mexican-ish food, this is probably not going to be your cup of tea, but I encourage you to experience the real deal with an open mind because...YUMMY!

I have never been to Mexico but the burrito I had at Lipis today is what I think of as an authentic burrito. The beef was seasoned and prepared properly it wasn't just hamburger and re fried bean slathered on a tortilla. The green salsa must be home made it was great. Two large burritos with beans, avocados, rice, chip and salsa and two bottles of soda was just $19.00. The server/cashier was kind and attentive. I can't wait to go back.
