Nicely seasoned carne asada. Amazing white sauce (some sort of cilantro lime crema?) Great portions and salsas. Ordered ultimate burrito for lunch and the ordering and food readiness is like clockwork, especially for a busy lunch hour.

I wouldn’t have believed I’d be leaving a 5-star review when I walked in for lunch today. I’ve been here many times in the past, and it’s always been good, but today was something else. The recent upgrades to the restaurant area, combined with the best taco combo I can remember having, made it clear—this place is now my new standard for traditional Mexican food.

Voted one of the best places for tacos in metro Detroit.Great service, prices and flavor. The carnival grill located inside carnival market is a popular spot with the locals. The attendents at the counter were very friendly and helpful. There is a spot to eat inside or even at the patio. The bakery is great to pick up flan or sweet cakes to have after your great meal.

Had the grilled chicken taco platter $7.99, thought rice & beans were dry & tacos portion was generous (made 2 meals) but dry, had to add quacamole & salsa when I got home. Be sure to order sour cream or salsa or something to make it less dry, lots of cilantro on top. Son ordered cheese quesadilla with veggies, he seemed to like his.
First time going, I tried tacos with 4 different meats and they were so authentic!! Haven't had those smells and flavors since I went to Mexico, I love this place! Wanna go again and try their menu!!
