Definitely a smaller business but the food is delicious. When I was ordering the Spanish plate I generally thought I was getting rice and a side of beans with the steak LMAO but I can see the Jamaican influence in Caribbean influence. By the way it’s made and it’s delicious. I did ask for the gravy over my rice which I didn’t get so I was a little sad. Everyone seems really friendly definitely worth trying and they have lunch specials between 10 and $15 between 1130 and one.

Ordering ahead is pointless had to wait 15mins after I got there after ordering 30mins ago. Chicken salad was made with no rice and extra peppers

Pure Vida comes to my job and I'm never disappointed. The jerk chicken I ordered was SO tender and fell off the bone. The rice and beans were delicious especially with the jerk chicken sauce/ broth on top. The cabbage was tender but was full of healthy, fresh flavor. while they come to my job, I WILL be stopping by on other days!

La comida es basura!! 3 leches es horrible. No es auténtica. Stay away unless you want to be sick!! Lazy cooking. Rice & beans are what keeps biz open. Cocky & argumentative owner.

I meant to take a picture before I started eating but I was hungry and it smelled good. Second time trying it as a guest restaurant at work and I'm pleased...again. Tried something different this time. 1st time it was the jerk chicken dinner😋. But this time....Those jerk chicken nachos were so delicious and flavorful. Will definitely try again. I might have to take a trip out to Pontiac!😋

I had a birthday party there and although it was small it was accommodating. We sat on the patio and the atmosphere was beautiful. The service was exceptional. Me and my family truly enjoyed this restaurant.

The chicken empanada is the best meal I’ve had in years! The masa was delightfully crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was perfectly moist with the right thickness so it could hold the tender, juicy, flavorful chicken. Make sure to try the house made avocado sauce and house made “ketchup” which compliment the flavors of the empanada.

I got the fish salad with the snapper and it was very good. The girl working inside was super nice and professional. The restaurant was clean. Definitely coming back!

Fantastic place. I arrived just after opening and had the Jerk Chicken as recommended by the waitress. (She said that it was what most people wanted when they came in.)

Checking to make sure I could handle it, she asked if I wanted it spicy. I was confident and agreed.

I was half way through the meal when the heat really hit me and I started pouring sweat from my head. Fortunately for me, the macaroni salad was just the right thing to cool down the spice. The cabbage and rice were a good combination with the chicken.

I think the problem was that I ate a whole pepper during my gestation of the chicken. But it was worth the pain.

Definitely authentic Caribbean cuisine.

I’m sure I will return some time to try their agua frescas and other dishes- maybe even some of their desserts.

10/10! My second time having the amazing food from this restaurant. I think I have to eat here every week now. The food is fresh, flavorful and authentic. The family run vibe is right up my alley. The jerk chicken is to die for, a must try!!
