Fresh, delicious, and I feel good when I eat Mediterranean food.
The food here was not good on this day. I ordered a Chicken Sharma. The chicken was burnt/dry. The pitta bread or the vegetables used were not fresh and overall it had weird aftertaste. The price listed on the online menu and menu at the restaurant was not accurate. The food wasn’t worth the price. Not a good place to eat at.
Jason helped me plan and deliver a lunch for a staff of 100 educators at the end of the school year. We provided delicious food for a good price and had plenty left over for staff members to share with families back at home. I highly recommend working with Zara for your next event.

Best value meal in town, it's actually 9.99 for huge shawarma wrap, fries, and a drink. It's like inflation never hit this place. Portions are not small at all. I've been coming here for years and it's as good as ever

The owners Jason and his wife Cassandra are truly some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet! They go above and beyond for both their customers and their employees. The food is absolutely incredible always fresh, flavorful, and served at prices that are more than reasonable. The place is spotless, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. They also killed it catering an event I hosted everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and the guests couldn’t stop raving about it. I can’t recommend this spot enough easily a 10/10 experience every time!

INSANE value, nobody makes a Schawarma this big for this price anywhere in the state. 9.99 for a chicken wrap, fries, and a drink and its not even a small wrap. For those who haven't tried schawarma it's just chicken garlic sauce and veggies. They haven't changed their prices in years i dont know why this place doesn't have a line out the door. If you're on hard times and need a value meal out, this is the best way to go !

I had an amazing experience here! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. A big shoutout to the owner, Jason and the manager Stephanie, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their hospitality and attention to detail truly made the night special. Great service, great atmosphere — we’ll definitely be coming back!
We used Zara Shawarma to cater a large meeting and Jason was amazing. He was so easy to work with and the food was a huge crowd pleaser. The set up was beautiful and they supplied everything we needed and more. I'd highly recommend anyone looking for a tasty and affordable meal in the Pontiac-area visit Zara Shawarma!

Overall I enjoyed my shawarma here. The price was good and they gave you a good amount of chicken. I might try and get a dinner platter next time to see how it compares to the sandwich.

I have not had this place since the first year it opened. Since then they have made some great improvements.
As a local middle eastern, I’ve eaten a lot of beef shawarma and theirs is great. I little dry but flavor wise it’s really nice.
I love how fresh and bright everything else. I’m a big fan of acidity with my meat, and they have a good choice of different pickles to put on your sandwich. I also love that they give you the option to toast the bread. You need to toast the bread, a room temperature full loaf of pita sandwich isn’t good.
I also ordered the hummus and tabouli and both were great. The hummus consistently was a bit thin but they make it that way to spread it on the sandwich. Well worth the $15. Their garlic sauce is also wonderful. I’ll be back. And will be my next go to when I need to pick up lunch.
