Food is exceptional 😋! Everything weve ordered from Don Jose has been delicious. Large portions. Can get pretty busy around dinner time so sometimes a little bit of a wait for your order. House margaritas are yummy too! Must have if looking for authentic, yummy Mexican food.
Overall great little restaurant. I tried the Chile Colorado with chicken, the chicken was soo tender and delicious. Kiddo tried their steak tacos. We were both very impressed. The tortilla and salsa were okay. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is very decorative and clean, including the bathrooms.
We were so impressed with the food! We stopped for lunch between GR and Lansing, didn't want a chain restaurant. I might have to stop here every time we drive this way, It was so fresh, delicious and the portions were amazing!!
