this place kicks ass. the best of the U.P. all distilled down into one perfect dive bar. if you're in Big Bay and you don't stop for a drink at the Lumberjack, you messed up badly.
Very pleasant staff, did not try any of their entrees , but should have tried their cudighi sandwich. Were else can you see a real crime seen and base of a book and movie that was filmed locally.
The interior looks the same since the new owners acquired it. This is a good thing, as the place is very iconic. Food is great, only had the pizza though. Bar tenders are diligent and swift, and a decent selection of beer is available. Your basic bud, Miller, etc. As well as some locally brewed beers as well.
