When we got there, they were out of a lot of stuff, but our server was an absolute sweetheart. Very polite, helpful in explaining the food, and even offered us a pasty to try. Fish fry was really good. The breading was flavourful, cripsy, and browned to perfection. I got the cod, and my significant other got Walley. They serve the fish with hush puppies, honey butter, coleslaw, and a mountain of fresh cut fries. My only complaint was that the fountain soda was really flat, and that's minor. The food, prices, and customer service were worth it. We will definitely be back.

Very disappointed since the shop seems to have mostly positive reviews. Traditional pasty was quite under-cooked and greasy. Mac and cheese (which it was assumed would be in a pasty, it was not) was mediocre and took a while to prepare. Fried fish was okay, but nothing impressive. Would not recommend or return.

Small diner at the side of the highway. Pasties were dry, Coke was flat, cookie was seriously over baked, service was friendly. Don't think I'll ever come back.

August 2024 - came here for lunch and my wife said the family has to try a Pasty. Glad we did! First off the lady working the counter was very sweet and caring. They do have a drive thru and one bathroom. Overall the Pasty was awesome. I ordered the chicken, small and regretted it. I should have ordered the big one. I wanted to order more for the road. I believe my wife ordered the original and we also got the pizza. My 8 yr old daughter loved them so much, she wanted another one to go. We also got chicken strips and fries. We also ordered the pasty Mac, and that was really good too. Overall a very good place to stop and relax.

So good!! The handle melts in your mouth -absolutely delicious and ranks 2nd from the pasty guy who has rated all pasties shops. A true hidden gem!!!!
