It amazes me that a restaurant with an oven cannot broil fish. The closest restaurant to me and I can't even get a healthy dinner That's not deep fried and smothered in batter. Seriously? Don't have cooks that can manage broiling Or baking. Heart attack On A plate is all you can get on friday night if you want fish.

Did breakfast 3 days never let us down. The Sunday special pecan roll is huge and worth the $10. Cinnamon roll the rest of the week but didn't try. Expect the same (priced $7 if I recall).

Ate lunch here in May 2025. Good food, but the server made a lot of mistakes. I think that she may have been new. She did not seem to be familiar with the menu. She was very nice, though. We also had to flag her down to check out.
Street parking only. The restaurant is next door to a bar, so we had to park down the street and walk to the restaurant.

Was hoping for a whitefish sandwich for lunch on a Sat., but they were out. Had a delicious cup of soup & a yummy cheeseburger instead. We like sitting in the older back area, but bring a sweater as it is cold near the fireplace!
The food was awesome and our waitress was fantastic!!! Busy time of the morning and we got our meals quick!

We came from way out of town to travel through and asked a local from the circle k for a recommendation for food, she pointed us to Jack’s. Man are we glad she did! The BEST SMOKE MEAT LOADED BAKED POTATO!! Whoever came up with this menu item is a GENIUS!
