Place was busy for the Friday night fish fry! We just stopped for a drink, but the food looks good and they got it out quickly. We will be stopping for dinner soon!

Initially it looked like the reviews for this place were good so we went but after a terrible experience I see that others have recently also had bad experiences. Service was abysmal. Food was only marginally better than abysmal. Apparently the owner does look at these, so my message to you is find new staff, your current Saturday night crew is seriously hurting your bottom line. Now I have to shower to wash the stench off.

What a great place to hang out and listen to the music with friends. We ordered nachos and a taco salad and the food was great. I highly recommend the Rapid River Pub. Great service by the staff!

Great bar in the middle of town super friendly service with great drinks, try their house brew, it's extremely good and more than refreshing. A must stop if your heading through town and need a drink!

Heidi and the rest of the staff were great and the food was delicious! Parking right on the street in front. It was a perfect place to have a quick dinner less than 10 minutes from our campground.
If you are not a regular, good luck withthe service on the weekend. I triad calling for over 30 minutes to place a carry out order. They don't answer their phone. We wanted whitefish, but decided to still compromise and stop in to get their walleye platter for dinner to go. I waited 20 minutes at the bar while all the help, at least 5 of the staff, occasionally looked at me, but always ran out to seat people or wait on other people at the bar. The couple at the end of the bar got their drinks refilled and food served while I waited. I left when the staff standing directly in front of me smiled and ran over to ask what she could get the 2 girls that just walked up to the bar. Yes they were busy, apparently too busy to wait on strangers. I can't comment on the food, atmosphere or anything, because I was invisible to the help. So far, it was the worst experience of my last dozen vacations.
