Absolutely terrible we went for a fish fry. Salad bar a joke picked over looked terrible. Then comes the food 22.95 for some over cooked fish. Under cooked fys nothing else. And the best part is everyone get the food at different times. So by time last person get what they order near 40 minutes passes. So they have to sit awkwardly while you actually get to try eat that trash they call food. I know place use to be good but not no more. Time to call it quits I think. Just sad

Can’t understand a Friday Fish Fry and order cod which don’t include salad or coleslaw without paying a extra 3.95 plus when the fish came out 2 hours later yes 2 hours later is right it was square processed fish like what you get in the frozen dept at Walmart . Can’t believe the way they seat you and the wait for 2 hours frozen square fish… plus we couldn’t even get a burger but yet they can cook a steak what the hell…. It is not worth the wait go someplace else even McDonalds fish sandwhich is better then their cod fish .. if I could give a below 1 I would .. don’t waste your time .

Waited 70 min before we even saw menus, had to ask for silverware after the food was brought and took 45 min from first person was seved to last person was served. Group of 9. Did not live up to past experiences there.

They were open and cooking food after other resturants. when we went they told us they can cook just some of the foods. we got the soup and chiken wrap. both taste were good and their portion was great

Ok, I went here after reading a lot of reviews. The place is outdated and very dark inside but everything else was great! This is not fast food, go elsewhere for that. I was a little skeptical at first because the owner is the cook, waitress, and bar tender. However, everything we ordered was great!!!
We were only in town for one night and been on the road for 13 hours. It was a nice bar, with a pretty mellow atmosphere. The patsy and brown gravy were excellent, which is saying something because I don't like brown gravy.
The appetizer sampler had plenty of options to choose from all fresh. My partner loved the sweet potato fries and burger. We also tried the chili and was some of the best we have had.

Not awesome but they sell shots of patron for 5 bucks. Maybe when the current owner brings the price down to planet earth (it's for sale) someone will buy it and do something better with it. The Friday fish fry and salad bar is pretty good, especially for the price.
Parking: Um...there's ample parking on the street. For people that don't know what "ample" means....sufficient, enough, abundant, etc etc.

I don’t know why i’m really even leaving a 2 but it kills me to write bad reviews. I also check reviews before I go to a spot and would like to have fair warnings. This bar wreaked like a mixture of cat feces and pee. The bartender wasn’t excited about new faces and when we asked if their kitchen was open so went on for about 20 seconds about how she’s been doubling and working super late and she’s tired but she guesses she could cook us something. We were only considering take out because of the smell, however the vibe from the bartender really made us feel concerned about the quality of the food she might make. So we said thanks anyways and headed out. We both bartend in restaurants and would’ve just said straight up the kitchen is closed or been polite and gave the menus out. We were looking forward to dining and checking out Swallow’s Inn on our vacation because the name is awesome and it had good reviews.
